TL;DR: It is found that not being circumcised might negatively affect individuals in adulthood when it comes to body image and sexual satisfaction, however, both improve after circumcision.
Abstract: Introduction: Our aim was to investigate the psychological and sexual effects of circumcision in adult men, and analyze these changes following circumcision. Methods: We included 37 adults who applied to our clinic for circumcision and who did not have any psychiatric or urologic disorders and age-matched 30 controls in our study. Body Cathexis Scale (BCS), Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS), and Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) were applied to the study group twice, once before and once three months after circumcision, and only once in the control group. Also, intravaginal ejaculation latency time (IELT) was noted and premature ejaculation (PE) evaluation was done. Intra- and intergroup comparisons were performed. Results: The two groups were similar with regard to demographic data. Comparison of preoperative BCS and LSAS scores with the scores of the control group showed significant differences (p=0.003, p0.05, and p>0.05, respectively). Scores of all scales showed significant improvements postoperatively. Also, PEDT scores and IELT changes before and after circumcision were significant in the study group, but not when compared to the control group. Conclusions: Our results indicated that social anxiety and anxiety levels decreased after circumcision in adult Turkish men, and their body gratification increased. We found that not being circumcised might negatively affect individuals in adulthood when it comes to body image and sexual satisfaction, however, both improve after circumcision.

TL;DR: In this article, the occurrence of small amplitudes of output signals from force and moment sensors used in the measurements of stability derivatives is a known problem and a solution to this problem by applying semiconductor strain gauges is presented.
Abstract: The occurrence of small amplitudes of output signals from force and moment sensors used in the measurements of stability derivatives is a known problem. This article presents a solution to this problem by applying semiconductor strain gauges. Forced oscillation technique is used for the measurement of stability derivatives applied in the T-38 wind tunnel. The roll- and pitch-damping derivative measurements of the Modified Basic Finner Model at Mach numbers 0.6 and 1.75 were done using the semiconductor five-component strain gauge balance. The T-38 wind tunnel data are compared with the wind tunnel data of the Arnold Engineering Development Center-von Karman (AEDC, USA). Very good agreement is obtained between the data from these two wind tunnels.

TL;DR: In this article, the Griffiths formalism for constrained variational problems was used to extend the results of Khaneja, Brockett and Glaser for two-spin and three-spin NMR systems.
Abstract: Recent papers by Khaneja, Brockett and Glaser obtained efficient RF pulse trains for two-spin and three-spin NMR systems by finding sub-Riemannian geodesics on a quotient space of SU(4). This paper outlines a method for extending their results via the Griffiths formalism for constrained variational problems.

TL;DR: In this article, the electrochemical deposition of Zn-Mn coatings was conducted on steel surface, and the morphology, chemical and phase compositions of the Zn coating obtained from sulfate-citrate bath were investigated.
Abstract: In order to improve the protective performance of Zn coating on reinforcing steel in concrete, the electrochemical deposition of Zn–Mn coatings was conducted on steel surface. The morphology, chemical and phase compositions of Zn–Mn coatings obtained from sulfate–citrate bath were investigated in the first part of paper. In the second part, the obtained deposits were tested in solution simulating carbonated concrete, consisting of NaHCO3 and Na2CO3. Data obtained from Tafel analysis showed higher corrosion resistance for Zn–Mn alloy deposits obtained at –1700 and –1800mV versus SCE, when compared to pure Zn deposit. Impedance spectroscopy investigations revealed that the total impedance of Zn–Mn coatings increased steadily with time, and was significantly higher as compared to pure Zn after 24h in corrosion solution. On the contrary, for pure Zn, the impedance increased in the first 12h, and then decreased during prolonged exposure time, which can be explained by rapid growth of nonprotective white rust and the degradation of zinc coating, as was confirmed by optical microscope after 24h of immersion in carbonated concrete pore solution.

TL;DR: The most common type of disc displacement found in the Turkish population studied was ADDwoR, and patients did not perceive the symptoms of TMDs as a disease and did not seek help until the TMJ derangement caused a major complaint.
Abstract: Objectives Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) have been discussed in detail for various populations. As no such study has examined the Turkish population, we determined the frequency of TMDs in the Turkish population through a multicentric investigation using MRI.
