TL;DR: In this article, an algorithm for adjusting the coefficients of an adaptive digital filter in the Residue Number System and a procedure of developed algorithm applying depending on filter length and signal length are proposed.
Abstract: The paper discusses adaptive filtering using Least Mean Square (LMS) and Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithms. An algorithm for adjusting the coefficients of an adaptive digital filter in the Residue Number System and a procedure of developed algorithm applying depending on filter length and signal length are proposed. Mathematical modeling of the considered algorithms is performed. Examples are presented to demonstrate how the proposed technique can help the designer in the adjustment of the filter coefficients without the need for extensive trial-and-error procedures. The analysis of the denoising quality and computational complexity is made. Synthetic and real data (earthquake recording) were used while testing. The proposed algorithm surpasses the existing ones like LMS and RLS, and their modifications in a number of parameters: adaptation (denoising) quality, ease of implementation, execution time. The main difference between the developed algorithm is the sequential adaptation of each coefficient with zero error. In the known algorithms, the entire vector of coefficients is iteratively adapted, with some specified accuracy. The iterations (steps) number is determined by the input signal length for all algorithms.

TL;DR: In this paper, the behavior of the leader was measured using the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), which was developed and adapted by Andrew W. Halpin at the Ohio State University.
Abstract: Leadership is of overriding importance in the military sphere since the foundation for leading a unit consists in influence, motivation and soldiers’ inspiration by the leader’s personal example. The Lithuanian Army seeks to develop a military leadership identity as a way to promote mission success. This study is sought to identify the effective leadership style, which is appreciated by soldiers in the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The behavior of the leader was measured using the Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ), which was developed and adapted by Andrew W. Halpin at the Ohio State University. The 204 participants were selected on an easy sample basis. The data collected from military personnel holding different ranks and doing their professional military service of all the units of the Lithuanian Armed Forces were analyzed using the structural equation modelling (SEM). Moreover, the findings from statistically significant modified model showed the strongest leadership style indicators.

TL;DR: In this paper, the development of 3-V1.G.IV to a cohesive and combat effective squadron is analyzed using the Bartone and Kirkland model, and the model is used to evaluate the effectiveness of a small unit.
Abstract: Among military social scientists, cohesion in a small military unit is generally viewed as a key to military effectiveness. A conceptual model for developing combat proficiency in small units was published in 1991 by Bartone and Kirkland, and, although their article is about small army units, the model also seems valid for flying squadrons, specifically fighter squadrons. Newly established fighter squadrons in NATO need about the same period of time to "mature" to (limited) combat-ready status or initial operating capability status as do army companies, i.e., some 12 months. In World War II about six months were needed in the United States, Great Britain, and Australia to train fighter squadrons to combat readiness. Even this period could be much shortened, however, as was proven by fighter squadron 3-Vl.G.IV in the former Netherlands East Indies in 1942. The development of 3-V1.G.IV to a cohesive and combat effective squadron is analyzed using the Bartone and Kirkland model.

TL;DR: The results showed that among workers who are constantly exposed to pesticides, acetylcholinesterase is within the reference value, and using each pesticide should only deal with people who are well versed in the way of its use, as well as theWay of protecting them from poisoning.
Abstract: AIM: The paper presents research on the most common causes of exposure that leads to disorders of cholinesterase activity, as well as an overview of the results of cholinesterase activity with the poisoned people.MATERIAL AND METHODS: In a group of 35 acute poisoned patients by organophosphate compounds has led to inhibition of AchE. A total number of examined workers are 175 in the chemical industry and agricultural production in the area of Rasina District-Serbia.RESULTS: The results showed that among workers who are constantly exposed to pesticides, acetylcholinesterase is within the reference value. Having examined the medical records of these workers, it is noted that, at 72%, there is a slight fall of AchE activity, each year. The workers who had been exposed to pesticides at the time of testing had acetylcholinesterase regarding reference value, but 52% of them had a few years ago significantly reduced the value of the activity of acetylcholinesterase, which was treated and then transferred to other jobs. The 48% of these workers had acetylcholinesterase regarding benchmarks or were transferred to other jobs, for a variety of other health problems.CONCLUSION: Using each pesticide should only deal with people who are well versed in the way of its use, as well as the way of protecting them from poisoning.
