15 Mar 2018TL;DR: A hybrid model based on the fuzzification of the AHP method and the fuzzified Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method is presented, which shows the application of the method on the example of the ranking of the locations for deep wading as a technique of crossing the river by the Serbian Army tank units.
Abstract: In this paper is presented a hybrid model based on the fuzzified Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) method and the fuzzified Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method. The FAHP method is used for defining the weight coefficients of the criteria, while the FMABAC method is performed for the ranking of the alternatives. The fuzzification of the AHP method is carried out by defining a variable confidence interval for the values from the Saaty’s scale, which is derived from the comparison in pairs and the degree of certainty of the decision-makers in the comparison they make. The application of the hybrid model is shown on the example of the ranking of the locations for deep wading as a technique of crossing the river by the Serbian Army tank units. Through the paper are elaborated the criteria which condition such choice; also, the application of the method in a particular situation is demonstrated.

01 Sep 2010TL;DR: In this paper, a methodology for presizing the induction motor propulsion of an electric vehicle (EV) based on the EV desired performances is presented. But the authors focus on finding its minimum weight, volume, and cost that meet the design constraints with minimum power under the European urban (ECE-15) and sub-urban (EUDC) driving cycles.
Abstract: This paper deals with a methodology for presizing the induction motor propulsion of an Electric Vehicle (EV). Based on the EV desired performances, the induction motor optimal power can be calculated. The final objective is to find its minimum weight, volume, and cost that meet the design constraints with minimum power under the European urban (ECE-15) and sub-urban (EUDC) driving cycles. The power presizing methodology is validated through extensive simulations for different induction motor-based EVs using a siding mode control technique.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel 6-arm amino polyethylene glycol functionalized multiwall carbon nanotubes (PEG/MWCNT) loaded with α-FeOOH (Fe/PEG, MWCNT), and hybrid α-Mn/Peg/MW CNT nano-deposit was used for As(V) removal in a batch test, the influence of pH, contact time, initial ion concentration and temperature on adsorption efficiency was studied.
Abstract: A novel adsorbents, 6-arm amino polyethylene glycol functionalized multiwall carbon nanotubes (PEG/MWCNT) loaded with α-FeOOH (Fe/PEG/MWCNT), and hybrid α-FeOOH/α-MnO2 nano-deposit (Fe-Mn/PEG/MWCNT) were used for As(V) removal. In a batch test, the influence of pH, contact time, initial ion concentration and temperature on adsorption efficiency was studied. Time-dependent adsorption was best described by pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Weber–Morris model which predicted intra-particle diffusion as a rate-controlling step of overall process. Competitive kinetic study in the presence of interfering ions shows low detrimental effect on both capacity and kinetic of As(V) removal. Thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption was spontaneous and endothermic processes. Influences of the pH, iron oxide loading and interfering ions were modeled by using Visual MINTEQ software. High adsorption capacities: 49.39 and 59.78 mg g−1 were obtained for Fe/- and Fe–Mn/PEG/MWCNT, respectively, and multi-cycle reusability indicated high applicability of obtained material. Two step removal process, in a batch study, was successfully performed by using PEG/MWCNT for cations removal in the first step, and Fe or Fe–Mn/PEG/MWCNT for As(V) removal in the second.
