TL;DR: In this paper, an open-loop antenna with a coupled-line gap for application as an internal laptop antenna for GSM/DCS dual-band operation is presented, which can operate both as a halfwavelength loop structure at 900 MHz and a one-wavelength structure at 1800 MHz.
Abstract: A novel open-loop antenna with a coupled-line gap for application as an internal laptop antenna for GSM/DCS dual-band operation is presented Owing to the use of the coupled-line gap, the proposed antenna can operate both as a half-wavelength loop structure at 900 MHz and a one-wavelength loop structure at 1800 MHz The antenna is easily printed on a dielectric substrate with a low cost and is then integrated to the supporting metal frame of the laptop display to achieve a compact size of 9 mm in height and 70 mm in length, making it very promising to be embedded within the casing of the laptop as an internal antenna Design considerations of the proposed antenna are described, and experimental and simulation results of the constructed prototype are presented Effects of the coupled-line gap on the dual-band operation of the proposed antenna are also analyzed © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc Microwave Opt Technol Lett 49: 680–684, 2007; Published online in Wiley InterScience (wwwintersciencewileycom) DOI 101002/mop22224

TL;DR: Overall this new operator out-performs the other operators on test data performance, and reduces computational time relative to most of them, and shows that while SGX is rather exploitative, and SC rather explorative, SSGX achieves a balance between the two.
Abstract: The semantic geometric crossover (SGX) proposed by Moraglio et al. has achieved very promising results and received great attention from researchers, but has a significant disadvantage in the exponential growth in size of the solutions. We propose a crossover operator named subtree semantic geometric crossover (SSGX), with the aim of addressing this issue. It is similar to SGX but uses subtree semantic similarity to approximate the geometric property. We compare SSGX to standard crossover (SC), to SGX, and to other recent semantic-based crossover operators, testing on several symbolic regression problems. Overall our new operator out-performs the other operators on test data performance, and reduces computational time relative to most of them. Further analysis shows that while SGX is rather exploitative, and SC rather explorative, SSGX achieves a balance between the two. A simple method of further enhancing SSGX performance is also demonstrated.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the multi-criteria decision-making complications under intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft set (IFHSS) information, which is a proper extension of the intuitionistic soft set.
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the multi-criteria decision-making complications under intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft set (IFHSS) information. The IFHSS is a proper extension of the intuitionistic fuzzy soft set (IFSS) which discusses the parametrization of multi-sub attributes of considered parameters, and accommodates more hesitation comparative to IFSS utilizing the multi sub-attributes of the considered parameters. The main objective of this research is to introduce operational laws for intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft numbers (IFHSNs). Additionally, based on developed operational laws two aggregation operators (AOs), i.e., intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft weighted average (IFHSWA) and intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft weighted geometric (IFHSWG), operators have been presented with their fundamental properties. Furthermore, a decision-making approach has been established utilizing our developed aggregation operators (AOs). Through the established approach, a technique for solving decision-making (DM) complications is proposed to select sustainable suppliers in sustainable supply chain management (SSCM). Moreover, a numerical description is presented to ensure the validity and usability of the proposed technique in the DM process. The practicality, effectivity, and flexibility of the current approach are demonstrated through comparative analysis with the assistance of some prevailing studies.
