TL;DR: In this article, the low-frequency single-particle and collective excitations of single-walled carbon nanotubes are studied in the presence of a magnetic field, and the differences among these plasmons are relatively obvious when the magnetic field is oriented closer to the nanotube axis.
Abstract: The low-frequency single-particle and collective excitations of single-walled carbon nanotubes are studied in the presence of a magnetic field. They strongly depend on the magnitude and direction of the magnetic field, transferred momentum, temperature, nanotube geometry, and Zeeman splitting. A narrow-gap nonarmchair carbon nanotube exhibits two interband magnetoplasmons, while a metallic nonarmchair carbon nanotube exhibits one interband magnetoplasmon and one interband and intraband magnetoplasmon or two interband magnetoplasmons and one intraband magnetoplasmon. The differences among these plasmons are relatively obvious when the magnetic field is oriented closer to the nanotube axis. The transferred momentum determines the plasmon frequency and the existence of plasmons. The temperature can induce an intraband magnetoplasmon or change an interband magnetoplasmon into an intraband and interband magnetoplasmon.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the 7 Indian chemical companies in terms of financial aspect using ratio analysis, Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (COPRAS) along with weighing systems of equal weighing, Entropy Shannon and Friedman test as the objective of research during 2010 to 2018.
Abstract: Financial appraises creates a prominent media for giving advice in the expansion, development of any society as well as its role in forbearance and stamina in depletion and recession. Obviously, manufacturing units have a main role in the development and progress of modern India. Indian economic relied on agricultural activities but industries also provide a prominent booster for the economic cycle. The current empirical study investigated the 7 Indian chemical companies in terms of financial aspect using ratio analysis, Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), COmplex PRoportional ASsessment (COPRAS) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) along with weighing systems of equal weighing, Entropy Shannon and Friedman test as the objective of research during 2010 to 2018. By the way, present research resulted in weighing and ranking of above-named industries in three classes. The weighing systems of Friedman test and Entropy Shannon were revealed a relatively linear scatter plot with no significant differences between values. DEA model had distinguished and classified the efficient companies based on rank values.

TL;DR: A sensor-based stage Petri net (SBSPN) is proposed to represent a programmable logic controller (PLC) stage logic diagram (LD) for discrete-event control design and is believed that this technique is significant for industry practice.
Abstract: Petri nets have been extensively applied for specification, design, verification, performance evaluation, and simulation of discrete event control systems (DECS). The usual way to verify the dynamic behaviour of DECS design is to employ a process-based model, which proves to be impractical in application because the process-based model does not usually fully correspond to the control programming behaviour. This paper proposes a sensor-based stage Petri net (SBSPN) to represent a programmable logic controller (PLC) stage logic diagram (LD) for discrete-event control design. The new technique is able to simplify the modelling process of the complex PLC program without considering the interlocking problem within the ladder diagram. An illustrated example is used to explore the new methodology. The proposed method contains the power and flexibility of the Petri net analysis prior to the PLC implementation. It is believed that this technique is significant for industry practice.

TL;DR: In this article, the Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity of P-type semiconductor alloy compacts of the composition (Bi2Te3)25-(Sb2Te 3)75 with grain size (L) in the range 30 > L > 20 μm, 20 > L < 15 μm and L < 5 μm were prepared by cold press at a pressure of 77 × 107 Nm−2.
Abstract: P-type semiconductor alloy compacts of the composition (Bi2Te3)25-(Sb2Te3)75 with grain size (L) in the range 30 > L > 20 μm, 20 > L > 15 μm, 15 > L > 10 μm, 10 > L > 5 and L < 5 μm were prepared by cold press at a pressure of 77 × 107 Nm−2. The samples were sintered at 673 K. Measurements of the Seebeck coefficient, electrical resistivity and thermal conductivity were carried out. The experimental results show that the Seebeck coefficient increases, but not much from the single crystal. The electrical resistivity increases in particular for the size L < 5 μm with a reduction in grain size. The total thermal conductivity seriously decreases as grain size decreases. It is concluded that the figure of merit of the compacted alloy would be significantly improved through the use of fine-grained powders of size 30−10 μm.
