Prevalência de toxoplasmose ovina determinada pela reação de Sabin-Feldman em animais de Uruguaiana, RS, Brasil

Abstract: The sera from 100 ovines from Uruguaiana (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), slaughtered in Braganca Paulista (S. Paulo, Brazil), were examined for the presence of antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii using the Sabin-Feldman dye test. Considering positive those sera with titer ³16, the prevalence of this zoonosis was 39% with titers and percentages of seropositivity of: 16 (66.7%), 64 (23%), 256 (2.6%), 1024 (5.1%) and 4000 (2.6%).

Abstract: Inner tubes for pneumatic tires including a toric cushion made from an elastomer material having cells independent of each other. A process for manufacturing such inner tubes with a mold for preforming and vulcanizing semi-toric elements, the mold includes fingers for molding recessed cavities and an incorporated heating network, the preformed semi-toric elements having undergone a first vulcanization are then joined together and subjected to a second vulcanization in an appropriate apparatus.

Níveis de resíduos de praguicidas organoclorados em produtos cárneos sob inspeção federal

Abstract: Com objetivo de evidenciar a frequencia e os niveis de residuos de praguiddas organoclorados, foram analisadas 445 unidades amostrais de materia prima (gordura bovina) provenientes de carcacas de bovinos de frigorificos e 132 unidades amostrais de carne bovina ja processada (enlatados, tais como "corned beef" e "roast beef"). Apresentaram-se com residuos de praguicidas acima dos limites de tolerância estipulados, 77 unidades amostrais de gordura bovina e 5 de produto processado. Residuos de praguiddas, sem contudo ultrapassar os limites de tolerância, foram identificados em, praticamente, todas as amostras, sendo que 27% das unidades amostrais de gordura bovina e 10,6% de produto processado apresentaram residuos de praguicidas em violacao aos limites estabelecidos na legislacao. Heptacloro, BHC e Dieldrin foram os praguiddas mais frequentes e Lindane e DDT os menos evidenciados.
