TL;DR: In this paper, a voice recognition device includes a dictionary in which a word which is recognized as a result of voice recognition on an inputted voice is registered, a reply voice data storage unit for storing recorded voice data about words registered in the voice recognition dictionary, a dialog control unit for, when a word registered in a dictionary is recognized, acquiring recorded voicedata corresponding to the word from the reply voicedata storage unit, a reproduction noise reduction unit for carrying out a process of reducing noise included in the recorded audio data, an amplitude adjusting unit for adjusting an amplitude of the recorded
Abstract: A voice recognition device includes a voice recognition dictionary in which a word which is recognized as a result of voice recognition on an inputted voice is registered, a reply voice data storage unit for storing recorded voice data about words registered in the voice recognition dictionary, a dialog control unit for, when a word registered in the voice recognition dictionary is recognized, acquiring recorded voice data corresponding to the word from the reply voice data storage unit, a reproduction noise reduction unit for carrying out a process of reducing noise included in the recorded voice data, an amplitude adjusting unit for adjusting an amplitude of the recorded voice data in which the noise has been reduced to a predetermined amplitude level, and a voice reproduction unit for reproducing a voice from the amplitude-adjusted recorded voice data.

TL;DR: In this article, a current control circuit of a ring oscillator is provided for use in PLL oscillators, which consists of a first circuit having a first current source and a first transistor connected in series.
Abstract: A current control circuit of a ring oscillator is provided for use in the PLL oscillators. A current control circuit used in the ring oscillator comprises a first circuit having a first current source and a first transistor connected in series; a second circuit connected with the first circuit in parallel and having n second constant current sources and n second transistors connected in series, respectively, the second transistors are current mirrored with the first transistor in the first circuit, respectively; a third circuit connected with the first circuit in parallel and having a third transistor and a fourth transistor connected in series, the fourth transistor is current mirrored with the first transistor; n diodes connected to a connecting point of said third transistor and the fourth transistor for supplying currents to connecting points of n second constant current sources and the second transistor, respectively; an input terminal connected with the connecting point of the first constant current source and the first transistor.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated two-dimensional maps of total electron content (TEC) perturbations with a spatial resolution of 0.15×0.15° in longitude and latitude to reveal the statistical characteristics of medium-scale traveling ionospheric disturbances (MSTIDs).
Abstract: Using densely spaced GPS receivers in Japan, we investigated two-dimensional maps of total electron content (TEC) perturbations with a spatial resolution of 0.15×0.15° in longitude and latitude to reveal the statistical characteristics of medium-scale traveling ionospheric disturbances (MSTIDs). We found that MSTIDs can be categorized into three groups: daytime, nighttime, and dawn and dusk MSTIDs. Daytime MSTIDs frequently occur in winter and tend to propagate southeastward. We speculate that daytime MSTIDs are caused by atmospheric gravity waves in the thermosphere. Nighttime MSTIDs frequently occur in summer and propagate southwestward. This propagation direction supports the notion that polarization electric fields could play an important role in generating nighttime MSTIDs. Dawn and dusk MSTIDs frequently occur in summer and propagate eastward and north-northwestward, respectively.

TL;DR: In this paper, a context-based dictionary entry access system is proposed, which selects and rings an entry based on the part-of-speech assigned to the given word in a sentence.
Abstract: A context-based dictionary entry access system includes selecting and rang an entry based on the part-of-speech assigned to the given word in a sentence. The entries corresponding to the word in context are first selected, followed by availability of entries that are not relevant to the current context. The part of speech of the given word in context is selected based on the utilization of a part-of-speech tagger such that only those entries are selected in which the corresponding word makes syntactic sense in the sentence.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the feasibility of active shape formation or correction of a deployable space antenna reflector under the conditions of limited number of actuators and limited information of its surface shape to suppress its deformations mainly due to thermal loads.
Abstract: Feasibility of active shape formation or correction of a deployable space antenna reflector under the conditions of limited number of actuators and limited information of its surface shape is investigated to aim to suppress its deformations mainly due to thermal loads. Those conditions are practical for actual development of large space antennas. A reflector surface control scheme through checking electrical radiation patterns, instead of measuring structural surface, is also proposed, and its performance is evaluated through numerical simulations.
