09 Jul 2008TL;DR: In this article, an electric motor-generator and an engine are linked using a first belt that is looped around a crank pulley that is mounted to a crank shaft and a one-way clutch pulley attached to a rotating shaft.
Abstract: An electric motor-generator and an engine are linked using a first belt that is looped around a crank pulley that is mounted to a crank shaft and a one-way clutch pulley that is mounted to a rotating shaft. An electronic control unit drives the electric motor-generator as an electric motor and drives the compressor by the electric motor-generator if engine speed is less than or equal to a predetermined value.

09 Aug 2006TL;DR: In this article, a power converter having an inverter, where capacitors are connected in parallel on the direct current side, and a power supply circuit configured to supply the inverter with a direct current from the power supply (1) and the power storage element (2) is provided.
Abstract: Provided is a power converter having an inverter (13) wherein capacitors (12) are connected in parallel on a direct current side, and a power supply circuit configured to supply the inverter with a direct current from a power supply (1) and a power storage element (14). A controller using such power converter is also provided for electric rolling stocks. The power supply circuit is provided with a power supply switch (S1) arranged between the power supply and the inverter, a DCDC converter (15A) arranged between the power storage element and the inverter, and a bypass switch (S2) arranged between the power storage element and the inverter.

31 Jan 2007TL;DR: In this article, a wire rope flaw detector includes a magnetizer having a pair of exciting magnets disposed on a back yoke such that polarities of polarities are opposite to each other, and forming a main magnetic path in a predetermined segment in an axial direction of the wire rope.
Abstract: A wire rope flaw detector includes a magnetizer having a pair of exciting magnets disposed on a back yoke such that polarities thereof are opposite to each other, and forming a main magnetic path in a predetermined segment in an axial direction of a wire rope; and a leakage magnetic flux detection section disposed in the predetermined segment in the axial direction, and detecting leakage magnetic flux generated from a damaged portion of the wire rope. Each of the exciting magnets are formed so as to have a cross-section of a shape that embraces the wire rope when each exciting magnet is cut along a plane perpendicular to the axial direction of the wire rope, and has magnetic orientation, on the cross-section of the exciting magnet, oriented from at least two directions toward the wire rope.
