02 Sep 2007TL;DR: In this article, a system for transmitting information data from a transmitter to a receiver over nested block channel, the transmitter (TRD) comprising an encoder (ENC) following an error-correcting code structure, the receiver (RCV) comprising a decoder (DEC) defined according to the error correcting code structure and a scaled BPSK binary modulator (BM), the amplitude of which may vary from one bit transmission to another.
Abstract: The present invention concerns a system for transmitting information data from a transmitter to a receiver over nested block channel, the transmitter (TRD) comprising an encoder (ENC) following an error correcting code structure, the receiver (RCV) comprising a decoder (DEC) defined according to the error correcting code structure, the nested block channel (NBCH) comprising a scaled BPSK binary modulator (BM), the amplitude of which may vary from one bit transmission to the other. Such system is characterized in that the coding rate (Rc) of the encoder (ENC) or the parameters (D,L) of the nested block channel (NBCH) are selected dependently one from each other to achieve a target diversity order of the system and to maximize the coding gain.

17 Dec 2008TL;DR: In this paper, a method for controlling the operation of a first base station of a wireless cellular telecommunication network composed of plural base stations and of a server is presented, where the first base stations sets the transmission power of the signals transferred by the first BS at a first transmission power value, detects a predetermined signal transferred by a mobile terminal and if a predetermined message is detected, establishes a communication link with the server, obtains from the server information identifying each second BS which manages a cell which is neighbour of the cell managed by the BS and which is transferring signals at a second
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for controlling the operation of a first base station of a wireless cellular telecommunication network composed of plural base stations and of a server. The first base station sets the transmission power of the signals transferred by the first base station at a first transmission power value, detects a predetermined signal transferred by a mobile terminal and if a predetermined signal is detected: - establishes a communication link with the server, - obtains from the server information identifying each second base station which manages a cell which is neighbour of the cell managed by the first base station and which is transferring signals at a second transmission power higher than the first transmission power value, - establishes a communication link with each second base station, - sets the transmission power of the signals transferred by the first base station at a second transmission power value higher than the first transmission power.

28 Nov 2005TL;DR: In this paper, an impurity diffusion layer of the second conductivity type and an antireflective film on one surface side of a semiconductor substrate was formed by heating the substrate at a predetermined temperature after applying the first electrode material and the third electrode material, the first electrodes, a high concentration region, and the second electrodes and third electrode.
Abstract: Forming an impurity diffusion layer of the second conductivity type and an antireflective film on one surface side of a semiconductor substrate of the first conductivity type; applying the first electrode material onto the antireflective film; forming a passivation film on the other surface side of the semiconductor substrate; forming openings in the passivation film to reach the other surface side; applying a second electrode material containing impurity elements of the first conductive type to fill the openings and not to be in contact with the second electrode material of adjacent openings; applying a third electrode material onto the passivation film to be in contact with the entire second electrode material; forming at a time, by heating the semiconductor substrate at a predetermined temperature after applying the first electrode material and the third electrode material, the first electrodes, a high-concentration region, and the second electrodes and third electrode.

02 Oct 2009TL;DR: In this paper, an indoor unit (40) is provided with a casing (1) having an inlet opening (2) formed in the upper part of the casing and also having an outlet opening (3) formed on the lower side of a front face section, an axial flow or mixed flow fan (4) provided in the casing, and a heat exchanger (5) provided at a position which is downstream of the fan and is upstream of the outlet opening.
Abstract: Provided are an indoor unit for an air conditioner, the indoor unit producing less noise than indoor units of conventional air conditioners, and an air conditioner equipped with the indoor unit. An indoor unit (40) is provided with a casing (1) having an inlet opening (2) formed in the upper part of the casing and also having an outlet opening (3) formed on the lower side of a front face section, an axial flow or mixed flow fan (4) provided in the casing (1) at a position on the downstream of the inlet opening (2), and a heat exchanger (5) provided at a position which is downstream of the fan (4) in the casing (1) and is upstream of the outlet opening (3) and allowing exchange of heat between a refrigerant and air discharged from the fan (4).

TL;DR: In this article, a polymeric bipolar TFT with a single channel layer has been successfully realized, where a single interpenetrating network channel layer, consisting of PAT12 and electron transport dye, was formed by spin-coating.
Abstract: A polymeric bipolar TFT with a single channel layer has been successfully realized. In the present TFT, a single interpenetrating network channel layer, consisting of PAT12 and electron transport dye, was formed by spin-coating. The current-voltage characteristics of the TFT are qualitatively similar to those of a heterostructure bipolar TFT. The interpenetrating network TFT has some advantages in fabrication compared with the heterostructure TFT.
