11 Feb 1977TL;DR: In this paper, dilute ethylene is reacted in vapor phase over solid porous catalyst such as zeolite ZSM-5 in a series of reaction zones with intermediate injection of cold reactants and diluent to control temperature.
Abstract: Benzene and dilute ethylene are reacted in vapor phase over solid porous catalyst such as zeolite ZSM-5 in a series of reaction zones with intermediate injection of cold reactants and diluent to control temperature.

02 Jul 1975TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen is converted to a product comprising methanol and unreacted carbon carbon dioxide, possibly with hydrogen; the mixture is partially converted by carbonylation to a mixture comprising acetic acid, methanoline, and methyl acetate; and this mixture is converted into a hydrocarbon product rich in aromatic hydrocarbons by use of a high silica to alumina ratio, limited constraint index, zeolite such as a ZSM-5 zeolate.
Abstract: Synthesis gas, a mixture comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen, is converted to a product comprising methanol and unreacted carbon monoxide, possibly with hydrogen; the mixture is partially converted by carbonylation to a mixture comprising acetic acid, methanol and methyl acetate; and this mixture is converted to a hydrocarbon product rich in aromatic hydrocarbons by use of a high silica to alumina ratio, limited constraint index, zeolite such as a ZSM-5 zeolite.

21 Dec 1984TL;DR: Silicophosphoaluminates are crystallized from a two-phase reaction mixture comprising sources of silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, and phosphorus oxide and a suitable directing agent as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Silicophosphoaluminates are crystallized from a two-phase reaction mixture comprising sources of silicon oxide, aluminum oxide and phosphorus oxide and a suitable directing agent. The silicophosphoaluminates produced have ion exchange properties and are readily convertible to catalytically active material.

20 Apr 1971TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method of cracking a hydrocbaron charge stock to separate an unreacted charge into a second reaction zone to get together with a catalyst compositions, one of which is a ZSM-5 type zelelight composite.
Abstract: A METHOD OF CRACKING A HYDROCARBON CHARGE STOCK WHICH COMPRISES PASSING SAID CHARGE STOCK INTO A REACTION ZONE TOGETHER WITH A CATALYST COMPOSITION COMPRISING TWO CRACKING COMPONENTS, ONE OF WHICH IS A ZEOLITE COMPONENT IDENTIFIED AS A ZSM-5 TYPE ZEOLITE, WITHDRAWING SAID CATALYST COMPOSITION FROM THE REACTION PRODUCTS, WITHDRAWING HYDROCARBON FROM THE REACTION ZONE, SEPARATING UNREACTED HYDROCARBON CHARGE AND INTRODUCING UNREACTED HYDROCARBON CHARGE INTO A SECOND REACTION ZONE TOGETHER WITH A CATALYST COMPOSITION COMPRISING TWO CRACKING COMPONENTS ONE OF WHICH IS A ZEOLITE COMPONENT IDENTIFIED AS ZSM-5 TYPE ZEOLITE, WITHDRAWING THE REACTION COMPONENTS AND RECOVERING LIQUID PRODUCT.

30 Apr 1973TL;DR: In this paper, a method and system for the fluid catalytic cracking of residual and lower boiling oil streams is described which relies upon the residual oil as a quench medium for limiting the conversion of a recycle oil product thereof in a riser conversion zone.
Abstract: A method and system for the fluid catalytic cracking of residual and lower boiling oil streams is described which relies upon the residual oil as a quench medium for limiting the conversion of a recycle oil product thereof in a riser conversion zone. The overall combination is enhanced by using a dual component cracking catalyst of large and small pore size. Other virgin feeds requiring limited conversion residence time may be used in the combination to obtain restricted conversion of the residual oil feed.
