TL;DR: An improved method for separation and isolation of individual components contained in a C8 aromatic mixture such as p-xylene and ethylbenzene, by contacting the mixture with an aluminosilicate zeolite which has been contacted with an organic-radical substituted silane, was proposed in this article.
Abstract: An improved method for separation and isolation of individual components contained in a C8 aromatic mixture such as p-xylene and ethylbenzene, by contacting the mixture with an aluminosilicate zeolite which has been contacted with an organic-radical substituted silane to modify the characteristics of the zeolite

TL;DR: In this article, a method for synthesizing a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite containing an organic nitrogen cation in the presence of a primary monoalkylamine having 2 to 9 carbon atoms in the alkyl portion was disclosed.
Abstract: A method is disclosed for synthesizing a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite containing an organic nitrogen cation in the presence of a primary monoalkylamine having 2 to 9 carbon atoms in the alkyl portion. The method produces a zeolite having a very low percentage, i.e. less than about 0.14 weight percent, generally less than about 0.1 weight percent of alkali metal, e.g. sodium, in the as-synthesized form. The product can be used directly as a catalyst without intermediate precalcination and cation exchange. This is not possible with zeolites such as those of the ZSM-5 type synthesized by the methods of the art.

TL;DR: In this paper, an encapsulated photovoltaic solar cell assembly comprising at least one solar cell mounted and hermetically sealed in a substantially rigid, elongated, tubular envelope which is transmissive to actinic radiation to which the solar cell is sensitive is presented.
Abstract: An encapsulated photovoltaic solar cell assembly comprising at least one solar cell mounted and hermetically sealed in a substantially rigid, elongated, tubular envelope which is transmissive to actinic radiation to which the photovoltaic solar cell is sensitive. The assembly can include an antireflection coating for reducing the reflection of solar radiation from the envelope as well as reflective coatings for uniformly distributing solar radiation over the light gathering surfaces of the cell.

TL;DR: In this article, high viscosity index, low pour point lubricants are produced by the oligomerization of a wax-derived lubricant fraction, which may be produced from slack wax or de-oiled wax by hydroisomerization over zeolite beta or hydrocracking/isomerisation over an amorphous catalyst.
Abstract: High viscosity index, low pour point lubricants are produced by the oligomerization of a wax-derived lubricant fraction. The fraction may be produced from slack wax or de-oiled wax by hydroisomerization over zeolite beta or hydrocracking/isomerization over an amorphous catalyst followed by selective dewaxing, preferably by catalytic dewaxing over a highly shape selective zeolite such as ZSM-23. The preferred peroxides are ditertiary alkyl peroxides such as ditertiary butyl peroxide (DTBP) and are typically used at temperatures of 100°-300° C.
