TL;DR: In this article, an automated system is provided for servicing a vehicle and its occupants. Butterworth et al. present an identification signal is communicated either while the vehicle (26) is approaching the terminal (12) or upon arrival and a control signal is then generated beginning and terminating the requested servicing and maintaining control over the operation.
Abstract: An automated system (2) is provided for servicing a vehicle (26) and its occupants. An identification signal is communicated either while the vehicle (26) is approaching the terminal (12) or upon arrival and a control signal is then generated beginning and terminating the requested servicing and maintaining control over the operation. Vehicle (26) servicing, such as fueling (9) and washing (6) can be provided robotically to the vehicle (26) without the vehicle (26) occupants being required to emerge from the vehicle (26) or become physically involved in its implementation. Payment is automatically charged to the customers account. Other services, such as sales to the vehicle (26) occupants can be obtained using a single identification and control unit (20) either in the vehicle (26) or outside of it.

TL;DR: In this article, an ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve for shape selective aromatic alkylation is presented, in which a reduced activity is modified by being exposed to at least two selectivation sequences and then reduced in activity.
Abstract: The present invention is a method of producing an ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve for shape selective aromatic alkylation in which a catalytic molecular sieve having a reduced activity is modified by being exposed to at least two selectivation sequences, each sequence includes contacting the molecular sieve with a selectivating agent and subsequently calcining the contacted molecular sieve. The present invention is also a method of producing an ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve for shape selective aromatic alkylation in which a catalytic molecular sieve is modified by being exposed to at least two selectivation sequences and then reduced in activity. The ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieves may optionally be further modified by in situ trim selectivation. The present invention is also a process for shape selective aromatic alkylation utilizing the modified molecular sieves.

TL;DR: In this paper, it has been found that blended polyolefin resins containing linear low density polyethylene copolymers (LLDPE) are advantageous in the manufacturing of thermoplastic films and bags.
Abstract: According to the present invention, it has been found that blended polyolefin resins containing linear low density polyethylene copolymers (LLDPE) are advantageous in the manufacturing of thermoplastic films and bags. The blended polyolefin resins are particularly well suited for making seamless-wall handled strap bags from thin tubular film consisting essentially of a homogeneous blend of HDPE, LLDPE, and ordinary branched LDPE. Superior physical properties of blown film from this blend permits the fabrication of economical carrying bags from thinner film, resulting in substantial material savings.
