29 Jul 1993TL;DR: In this paper, a plastic reclosable fastener or zipper with a slider detent lock for locking the slider in closed position on plastic-film bags and the like is disclosed.
Abstract: A plastic reclosable fastener or zipper with slider detent lock for locking the slider in closed position on plastic-film bags and the like is disclosed. The slider includes two spring-loaded detent elements located on opposite sides of the separator finger on the slider. When the slider is at any location other than the fully closed position at the end of the fastener, the spring-loaded detent elements ride against the outside surfaces of the flanges by which the separator finger opens the fastener. When the slider reaches the location at the end of the fastener where portions of the flanges have been removed to provide a notch, the spring-loaded detent elements spring inward against the sides of the separator finger. There they resist an attempt to move the slider in an opening direction because this requires that they be forced outward over the flanges of the zipper.

23 Apr 1985TL;DR: In this article, relatively heavy or relatively light chargestocks are dewaxed in two parallel, separate reactors, each containing a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite exemplified natural or synthetic ferrierite.
Abstract: Relatively heavy or relatively light lube chargestocks are dewaxed in two parallel, separate reactors. The reactor used for dewaxing the relatively light chargestocks contains a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite exemplified natural or synthetic ferrierite, ZSM-22, ZSM-23 and ZSM-35 zeolites and/or mixtures thereof. The reactor used for dewaxing the relatively heavy chargestocks contains a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite exemplified by ZSM-5, ZSM-11 zeolites, ZSM-5/ZSM-11 intermediates and/or mixtures thereof.

TL;DR: In this paper, seismic reflection data reveals that the Seattle basin (Washington) is markedly asymmetric and consists of ∼9-10 km of Eocene and younger deposits, and that dextral offset on the Puget fault south-east of Seattle stepped eastward, and the Seattle fault began as a restraining transfer zone.
Abstract: Analysis of seismic reflection data reveals that the Seattle basin (Washington) is markedly asymmetric and consists of ∼9-10 km of Eocene and younger deposits. The basin began as a discrete geologic element in the late Eocene (∼40 Ma), the result of a reorganization in regional fault geometry and kinematics. In this reorganization, dextral offset on the Puget fault south- east of Seattle stepped eastward, and the Seattle fault began as a restraining transfer zone. North-vergent reverse or thrust faulting on the Seattle fault forced flexural subsidence in the Seattle basin to the north. Offset on the Seattle fault and subsidence of the Seattle basin have continued to the present.

23 Sep 1974TL;DR: In this paper, a phosphorus-containing aluminosilicate zeolite is described as a catalyst for the conversion of aliphatic compounds, and a method for preparing it is described.
Abstract: This specification discloses, as a composition of matter, a phosphorus-containing zeolite and discloses a method for preparing it. The composition is a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite having a silica to alumina ratio of at least about 12, a constraint index of about 1 to 12, and containing phosphorus incorporated with the crystal structure thereof in an amount of at least about 0.78 percent by weight. The specification also discloses the use of the composition as a catalyst for the conversion of aliphatic compounds.
