TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical model of the disturbances generated by the vibrations of the streamlined surface in the boundary layer is discussed, with the aid of the expansion of the solution in eigenfunctions of linearized Navier-Stokes equations with nonparallelism of the flow in a real boundary layer taken into account.
Abstract: A theoretical model of the disturbances generated by the vibrations of the streamlined surface in the boundary layer is discussed. The analysis was performed with the aid of the expansion of the solution in eigenfunctions of linearized Navier-Stokes equations with nonparallelism of the flow in a real boundary layer taken into account. High efficiency of the excitation of Tollmien-Schlichting (TS) waves has been found.

TL;DR: In this paper, a theoretical study of the excitation of TS waves by acoustic waves on inhomogeneity resulting from the nonparallelism of the boundary-layer flow is carried on for a compressible boundary layer.
Abstract: This work represents a theoretical study of the excitation of TS waves by acoustic waves on inhomogeneity resulting from the nonparallelism of the boundary-layer flow. The analysis is carried on for a compressible boundary layer. The mathematical model is based on perturbation theory method.

TL;DR: In this article, a matched asymptotic expansion method was used to investigate the penetration of incompressible fluid vortex disturbances into the boundary layer on the body with stagnation point. But the results were limited.
Abstract: Penetration of incompressible fluid vortex disturbances into the boundary layer on the body with stagnation point is investigated by the matched asymptotic expansion method. Tollmien-Schlichting waves generation by the vortex disturbances in a boundary layer has been considered.

TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear nonstationary wave with nonlinear critical layer was studied and the time function of the wave amplitude has been obtained, where the method of matching asymptotic expansions was used.
Abstract: The method of matching asymptotic expansions is used to investigate the nonlinear nonstationary waves with nonlinear critical layer. The structure of the nonlinear nonstationary critical layer is studied. The time function of the wave amplitude has been obtained.
