TL;DR: In this paper, the coordination of a supply chain with one manufacturer and two competing retailers after the production cost of the manufacturer was disrupted is studied, and the conditions under which the supply chain is coordinated and discuss how the cost disruption may affect the coordination mechanisms.
Abstract: This paper studies the coordination of a supply chain with one manufacturer and two competing retailers after the production cost of the manufacturer was disrupted. We consider two coordination mechanisms: an all-unit quantity discount and an incremental quantity discount. For each mechanism, we develop the conditions under which the supply chain is coordinated and discuss how the cost disruption may affect the coordination mechanisms. For the all-unit quantity discount scheme, we find that the manufacturer charges the lower-cost retailer for a lower unit wholesale price in order to induce him to order more products. If the costs of two retailers have a remarkable difference, then the all-unit quantity discount scheme cannot coordinate the supply chain with disruptions. While the cost disruption may affect the wholesale prices, order quantities as well as retail prices, it is optimal for the supply chain to keep the original coordination mechanism if the production cost change is sufficiently small. The model is also extended to the case with both cost and demand disruptions. The equilibrium strategies of the retailers are investigated when the manufacturer cannot timely react to the disruptions such that she has to keep the original mechanism. We illustrate the results by numerical examples.

TL;DR: A unified strategy involving visible-light-induced iminyl-radical formation has been established for the construction of pyridines, quinolines, and phenanthridines from acyl oximes and was successfully applied to a five-step concise synthesis of benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids.
Abstract: A unified strategy involving visible-light-induced iminyl-radical formation has been established for the construction of pyridines, quinolines, and phenanthridines from acyl oximes. With fac-[Ir(ppy)3] as a photoredox catalyst, the acyl oximes were converted by 1 e− reduction into iminyl radical intermediates, which then underwent intramolecular homolytic aromatic substitution (HAS) to give the N-containing arenes. These reactions proceeded with a broad range of substrates at room temperature in high yield. This strategy of visible-light-induced iminyl-radical formation was successfully applied to a five-step concise synthesis of benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids.

TL;DR: In this paper, a polypyrrole nanotubes with high electric conductivity and azo function have been fabricated in high yield via an in-situ polymerization.
Abstract: Summary: Polypyrrole nanotubes with high electric conductivity and azo function have been fabricated in high yield via an in-situ polymerization. During the process fibrillar complex of FeCl3 and methyl orange (MO), acting as a reactive self-degraded template, directed the growth of polypyrrole on its surface and promoted the assembly into hollow nanotubular structures. TEM image of uncompleted PPy nanotubes synthesized in MO solutions after reaction for 40 min.

TL;DR: This paper presents possibly the first study on partial multiview clustering, which works by establishing a latent subspace where the instances corresponding to the same example in different views are close to each other, and similar instances in the same view should be well grouped.
Abstract: Real data are often with multiple modalities or coming from multiple channels, while multi-view clustering provides a natural formulation for generating clusters from such data. Previous studies assumed that each example appears in all views, or at least there is one view containing all examples. In real tasks, however, it is often the case that every view suffers from the missing of some data and therefore results in many partial examples, i.e., examples with some views missing. In this paper, we present possibly the first study on partial multiview clustering. Our proposed approach, PVC, works by establishing a latent subspace where the instances corresponding to the same example in different views are close to each other, and similar instances (belonging to different examples) in the same view should be well grouped. Experiments on two-view data demonstrate the advantages of our proposed approach.
