TL;DR: In this paper, an adaptive controller for controlling a mechanical prosthetic arm utilizing gradient method MIT rule has been proposed and simulation is done in MATLAB-Simulink for various estimation of adaptation gain.
Abstract: The article represents MRAC strategies for controlling a mechanical prosthetic arm utilizing gradient method MIT rule. Depending on the uncertainty parameters like mass of the mechanical arm, friction constant and spring constant, an adaptive controller is designed and outlined. MIT rule has been applied to this second-order system, and simulation is done in MATLAB-Simulink for various estimation of adaptation gain. With the changes in adaptation gain, the adaptation mechanisms are changed and results are analyzed. Variation in the parameters should be in the specified range for MIT rule. Further Lyapunov stability approach has been applied to the closed-loop dynamics to ensure global stability on variation of plant parameters.

TL;DR: In this paper, a graph-based data model for presenting patient and doctor relationships when a treatment episode starts is proposed, and a doctor recommender system and an online healthcare delivery system have been built which can be used for treating patients remotely.
Abstract: Healthdata is unstructured and heterogeneous. Storing and managing healthdata therefore require NoSQL data models, so that they can be efficiently accessed. In this paper, we propose a graph-based data model for presenting patient and doctor relationships when a treatment episode starts. On top of this data model, a doctor recommender system and an online healthcare delivery system have been built which can be used for treating patients remotely.

TL;DR: In this article, the performance of an active front-end (AFE) rectifier with direct and quadrature axis current control method was investigated and the PI controllers for that specific loop has been omitted to deal with the easy control of the controller.
Abstract: This work investigates the performance of an Active Front-End (AFE) Rectifier with direct and quadrature axis current control method. Most of the research works describe that the controller for an AFE Rectifier requires three Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers to regulate DC voltage, d-axis and q-axis current. Normally, the outer loop for DC voltage control requires high gain value to stabilize the DC voltage and the inner loop for current control requires low gain values to regulate the current. In this proposed work, due to lower gain of the inner current loop, the PI controllers for that specific loop has been omitted to deal with the easy control of the controller.
