TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used rice straw nanocellulose in the production of nanocomposites using epoxy resin and the results showed that the surface morphology of the nanocomposition was homogeneous in epoxy compared to rice straw powder.
Abstract: The main goal of this work was to use rice straw nanocellulose in the production of nanocomposites using epoxy resin. The chemo-mechanical treatment was used to produce rice straw nanocellulose powder. The treatment was done to evaluate the effect of such treatment on the performance of produced nanocomposites. The morphology and crystallinity of the nanocomposites was further observed. The Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) images show that the surface morphology of rice straw nanocellulose nanocomposite was homogenous in epoxy compared to rice straw powder nanocomposite. X-ray Diffraction (XRD) pattern showed that the addition of 1% of filler (rice straw powder and rice straw nanocellulose) in the epoxy matrix does not result in any significant changes on its crystallinity. Thus, the analysis provided the information that there was no transformation to the trans-crystalline phase in the system interface.

TL;DR: In this article, the phase stability and electronic structure of low temperature nickel (Ni) doped Ba(Fe1-xNix)2As2 superconductor were theoretically evaluated.
Abstract: To understand the electron doping effect into the parent compound BaFe2As2, we have theoretically evaluated phase stability and electronic structure of low temperature nickel (Ni) doped Ba(Fe1-xNix)2As2 superconductor. The optimized Fmmm phase are calculated by first principles pseudopotential and plane wave calculations within generalized-gradient approximation (GGA) with Perdew-Perke-Ernzerhof (PBE) exchange correlation functional. Our results show that nonmagnetic (NM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) state having anisotropic spin configuration in the band structure calculation. This finding shows that a clear gap is observed in the band structure upon optimally Ni doping in the NM state with a small indirect gap 43.68 meV is found in the direction of G-X points. A spin gap 47.8 meV is obtained when a spin polarized orbital calculation is introduced to the system. The hybridization of Fe/Ni-3d and As-4p in the density of states (DOS) results a metallic region near the Fermi level and flat bands exist below ...

TL;DR: A performance model, which includes the different dimensions of aircraft parts and space vehicle industries' inventory management system, has been applied and empirically tested and the regression analysis has been employed.
Abstract: Inventory management is in the heart of operational performance in aircraft parts and space vehicles industries. As a result of its importance in practice, this subject has been extensively studied in recent years in operations management. The main focus of this study is to look at the relationship between inventory management performance such as inventory effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness and company operational performance. A performance model, which includes the different dimensions of aircraft parts and space vehicle industries' inventory management system, has been applied and empirically tested. In order to examine the effect of various measures on inventory performance, the regression analysis has been employed. We use financial data of 39 publicly listed U.S. aircraft parts and space vehicle industries for the 11-year period, 2005 to 2015. The data (Compustat North America Annually Updated) is taken from Standard &Poor's Compustat database via Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). We discuss the implementation of these experimental results on the study of inventory management policy execution, and give researchers some guidance for further research areas.
