TL;DR: Zheng et al. as mentioned in this paper developed a nonlinear dynamic model for the motion simulation of DSAPB, where the effect of sea water density change is taken into consideration and a viscous hydrodynamic calculation method satisfying the motion characteristic of DS APB is presented.
Abstract: Yang, S.; Li, L.; Li, X.; Liang, F.; Zhang, X., and Sun, W., 2020. Dynamics model of buoy unpowered heave considering seawater density. In: Zheng, C.W.; Wang, Q.; Zhan, C., and Yang, S.B. (eds.), Air-Sea Interaction and Coastal Environments of the Maritime and Polar Silk Roads. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 99, pp. 439-446.The Deep-sea Autonomous Profile Buoys (DSAPB) are a new type of underwater buoys and they can dive to the deep sea below 4000m. Considering dynamic models of conventional underwater vehicle could not adequately satisfy the motion characteristic of DSAPB, a nonlinear dynamic model for the motion simulation of DSAPB is developed in this paper. In the model, the effect of sea water density change is taken into consideration and a viscous hydrodynamic calculation method satisfying the motion characteristic of DSAPB. The buoyancy variation is introduced into the standard hydrodynamic equation to simplify the DSAPB hydrodynamic equation, and the Motion of Planar Mechanisms (PMM) experiment is simulated by means of Computer Fluids Dynamics (CFD). The hydrodynamic coefficients in the equation are obtained and the DSAPB dynamic model is obtained which provides theoretical basis for effective control of DSAPB.

TL;DR: In this paper, the TMG30 polymer electrolytes containing 40 wt.% poly(methyl methacrylate) grafted natural rubber was treated with N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'-phenyl-pphenylenediamine (6PPD) additive (TMG30) to retard its degradation before further used as electrolytes.
Abstract: 30% poly(methyl methacrylate) grafted natural rubber was treated with N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N’-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine (6PPD) additive (TMG30) to retard its degradation before further used as electrolytes. The polymer electrolytes containing MG30-6PPD-LiTF were prepared by solution cast technique. X-ray diffraction studies show the electrolytes with the highest salt content are amorphous in nature. The TMG30-salt complexes were confirmed by using Fourier transformation infrared analysis. The highest ionic conductivity of the TMG30 polymer electrolytes containing 40 wt.% LiTF was found to be 1.5 x 10 S/cm at room temperature. Transference number studies show that the sample with highest ionic conductivity exhibits the charge transport species in this TMG30 polymer electrolyte film is predominantly due to ions.

01 Jan 2014TL;DR: This paper introduces the architecture of system and approach of technology, and focuses on e-design and implementation of Web service, as it is the key technique and the core of system.
Abstract: Scenario data is the basis for much military training, war gaming, planning, and scenario data service system is also an important component of war-gaming system. It provides an easy interface to store, compile, read and write, transfer scenario data needed in war gaming, especially, trainees in war gaming need to query and search data which could assist them to make combat plan, etc. This led us to design and implement Scenario Data Service System. In this paper, we introduce the architecture of system and approach of technology. Then, we focus on e-design and implementation of Web service, as it is the key technique and the core of system. In the second half of paper, we introduce the Web service process and then expatiated on the modules of Web layer.

30 Sep 2018TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the long and short term impact of macroeconomic variables on the KSE 100 index for the period of July 1996 - June 2015, using Cointegration technique and VECM models.
Abstract: The macroeconomic version of the APT is of great significance in examining the return on assets. It analyzes the estimated security return with reference to various macroeconomic variables. Despite availability of research studies related to the developed and emerging stock markets of the world, still a research gap exists for exploring the frontier markets like equity market of Pakistan. The study examines the long and short term impact of macroeconomic variables on the KSE 100 index for the period of July 1996 - June 2015. Cointegration technique and VECM models have been applied. Among these variables, GDP, inflation, exchange rate, unemployment rate, labor force cost and stock market of US were found significant for explanation of effects on return of stock market of Pakistan. The study findings have potential implications for both policymakers and investors pertaining to macroeconomic factors and stock market volatility.
