01 Jan 2015TL;DR: The purpose of this chapter is to form a hypothesis about how to identify patterns i.e., emergent phenomena about the cyber world for developing security in the society.
Abstract: The increasing applying of information and communication technology is transforming the society into an unknown ground of the continuously evolving cyber world. This challenges the actors of the society and has increased complexity. The purpose of this chapter is to form a hypothesis about how to identify patterns i.e., emergent phenomena about the cyber world for developing security in the society. The cyber world is considered as a complex adaptive system. A system modelling approach to complex adaptive systems is briefly outlined and a social system model of a society is introduced as a content analysis method to complex adaptive systems. The model is populated with a small set of empirical data to have a preliminary view on the content analysis of the cyber world. The results of the content analysis are patterns, i.e., emergent phenomena of the cyber world. They can be utilized for focusing the more detailed analysis of the cyber world on the most significant issues from the security planning and implementation point of view.

01 Aug 2017TL;DR: In this paper, a conceptual framework for business process modeling and analysis using circular economy innovative theory as a source for business knowledge management is developed for new innovative business models in the field of the circular economy.
Abstract: The overall aim of this paper is to develop a new conceptual framework for business process modeling and analysis using circular economy innovative theory as a source for business knowledge management. The last part of the paper presents an author's proposed basic structure for a new business models applying circular economy innovation theories. For people working on new innovative business models in the field of the circular economy this paper provides new ideas for clustering their concepts.

30 Jun 2018TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore what democracy is and what are the key tools for the success of democracy in Pakistan, and propose a framework to improve these tools for better understanding and awareness in the general public.
Abstract: This article aims to explore what democracy is and what are the key tools for the success of democracy. Democracy is a famous form of government in contemporary world politics. There are few key characteristics of true democracy, for instance; free and fair elections, the role of media, education, judiciary, political parties, and religious tolerance, etc. Pakistan has experienced authoritative and democratic forms of government since independence. Many democratic governments have governed the country but despite that politicians in Pakistan could not provide the basic facilities of life to the general public. Lack of timely, free and fair elections, the gap between political elite and public, martial-laws, civil-military relations, lack of education and awareness in the general public are some key hurdles in the success of democracy. Therefore, for the success of democracy in Pakistan, it is also necessary to improve these tools.

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of scientific approaches to understanding of organizational development in the field of educational institutions management as a complex of successive educational changes is presented, and scientific researches on the change of education managers' behavior in the course of changes are presented.
Abstract: The article contains the analysis of scientific approaches to understanding of organizational development in the field of educational institutions management as a complex of successive educational changes. Scientific researches on the change of education managers’ behavior in the course of changes are presented.Types of education managers attitude to changes and their quantitative expression were determined and revealed based on the data of an empirical research. Almost half of the surveyed education managers are represented by such types as “traditionalist” and “realist”, which indicates the insufficient orientation of education managers in introducing innovative changes in educational institutions. This indicates a low level of education managers’ readiness to provide the organizational development of educational institutions. The results obtained can be used by the government in developing and implementing the programs for the professional development of education managers. The authors offer the most practical tools for implementing the concept of organizational development. It is proposed to distinguish between special requirements for both professional and personal qualities of education managers.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the detailed derivation and validation of a full vehicle model to study the behaviour of vehicle dynamics in the longitudinal direction. And the model consists of handling and tyre subsystems, an engine model subsystem, an automatic transmission subsystem and a brake model subsystem.
Abstract: This paper presents the detailed derivation and validation of a full vehicle model to study the behaviour of vehicle dynamics in the longitudinal direction. The model consists of handling and tyre subsystems, an engine model subsystem, an automatic transmission subsystem and a brake model subsystem. The full vehicle model was then validated using an instrumented experimental vehicle based on the driver input from brake and throttle pedals. Vehicle transient handling dynamic tests known as sudden braking tests were performed for the purpose of validation. Several behaviours of the vehicle dynamics were observed during braking and throttling manoeuvres, such as body longitudinal velocity, wheel linear velocity and tyre longitudinal slip, at each quarter of the vehicle. Comparisons of the experimental results and model responses with sudden braking and throttling imposed motions were made in this study. It is concluded that the trends between simulation results and experimental data were found to be almost similar with an acceptable level of error for the application at hand.
