TL;DR: In this article, a novel renewable energy resources system of potentials: energy, resource saving and environmental; better designed and more accurate methods for calculating the future exploitable technical potentials of wind and solar PV energy for a wide range of generating equipment in centralized and distributed power systems, taking into account existing social and environmental limitations.

TL;DR: Findings demonstrating the statistically significant prediction of a wider set of personality features (all the Big Five personality traits) for both men and women using real-life static facial images and a cascade of artificial neural networks on a large labelled dataset.
Abstract: There is ample evidence that morphological and social cues in a human face provide signals of human personality and behaviour. Previous studies have discovered associations between the features of artificial composite facial images and attributions of personality traits by human experts. We present new findings demonstrating the statistically significant prediction of a wider set of personality features (all the Big Five personality traits) for both men and women using real-life static facial images. Volunteer participants (N = 12,447) provided their face photographs (31,367 images) and completed a self-report measure of the Big Five traits. We trained a cascade of artificial neural networks (ANNs) on a large labelled dataset to predict self-reported Big Five scores. The highest correlations between observed and predicted personality scores were found for conscientiousness (0.360 for men and 0.335 for women) and the mean effect size was 0.243, exceeding the results obtained in prior studies using ‘selfies’. The findings strongly support the possibility of predicting multidimensional personality profiles from static facial images using ANNs trained on large labelled datasets. Future research could investigate the relative contribution of morphological features of the face and other characteristics of facial images to predicting personality.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors study the problem of word ambiguities in definition modeling and propose a possible solution by employing latent variable modeling and soft attention mechanisms, which takes into account words ambiguity and polysemy leads to performance improvement.
Abstract: We explore recently introduced definition modeling technique that provided the tool for evaluation of different distributed vector representations of words through modeling dictionary definitions of words. In this work, we study the problem of word ambiguities in definition modeling and propose a possible solution by employing latent variable modeling and soft attention mechanisms. Our quantitative and qualitative evaluation and analysis of the model shows that taking into account words ambiguity and polysemy leads to performance improvement.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that for a smooth quintic threefold X, a certain group of autoequivalences of the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves is an Artin group.
Abstract: We show that some hypergeometric monodromy groups in Sp(4,Z) split as free or amalgamated products and hence by cohomological considerations give examples of Zariski dense, non-arithmetic monodromy groups of real rank 2. In particular, we show that the monodromy of the natural quotient of the Dwork family of quintic threefolds in P^{4} splits as Z*Z/5. As a consequence, for a smooth quintic threefold X we show that a certain group of autoequivalences of the bounded derived category of coherent sheaves is an Artin group of dihedral type.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the Hurwitz partition functions associated with the CAA of cut-and-join operators, and show that the simplest solution of this type is associated with a subring, generated by the dilatation operators.
Abstract: Correlators in topological theories are given by the values of a linear form on the products of operators from a commutative associative algebra (CAA). As a corollary, partition functions of topological theory always satisfy the generalized WDVV equations of [42]. We consider the Hurwitz partition functions, associated in this way with the CAA of cut-and-join operators. The ordinary Hurwitz numbers for a given number of sheets in the covering provide trivial (sums of exponentials) solutions to the WDVV equations, with finite number of time-variables. The generalized Hurwitz numbers from [32, 33] provide a non-trivial solution with infinite number of times. The simplest solution of this type is associated with a subring, generated by the dilatation operators $ \hat{W}{1} = {\text{tr}}\,D = {\text{tr }}X\partial /\partial X $
