TL;DR: Stepwise stability constants are reported for the lanthanide complexes with bimalonate and bisuccinate, and it appears that bimal onate is a bidentate ligand while bisuccinated is monodentate.

TL;DR: In this paper, the hydrogen bonding between hydroxyl and nitro groups was investigated with infra-red spectroscopy and the frequency shift, equilibrium constant, and asymmetric vibrational absorption band were obtained and correlated with Hammett's or Taft's sigmas.

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic study was made to prepare technetium-99m generator for domestic uses in the fields of nuclear medicine and biological tracer work by using molybdenum-99 produced by Tsing Hua Open-pool Reactor (THOR).
Abstract: A systematic study was made to prepare technetium-99m generator for domestic uses in the fields of nuclear medicine and biological tracer work by using molybdenum-99 produced by Tsing Hua Open-pool Reactor (THOR). Alumina was used as generator bed and technetium-99m was milked by physiologic saline solution. It was found that it is feasible to prepare technetium-99m generator by which medically acceptable technetium-99m solution can be obtained for practical applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, the half wave potential of the DTPA system was investigated polarographically over the pH range 3-10 in the absence of maximum suppressor, and the ratio of the stability of iron (III) DTPA to iron (II) was evaluated.
Abstract: The iron-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) system has been investigated polarographically over the pH range 3–10 in the absence of maximum suppressor. The iron (III) complex is reversibly reduced at the dropping mercury electrode. Polarograms of mixtures of iron (III) and iron (II) yield a composite cathodic / anodic wave in the presence of excess DTPA. The half wave potential of the system is constant in the pH region 5.5–9, and from this the ratio of the stability of iron (III) DTPA to iron (II) DTPA has been evaluated. The stability constant of the ferric complex has been obtained from a spectrophotometric analyse of its dissociation equilibrium in 0.4–1.0 M perchloric acid medium at wavelength 380–520 mμ. μ dependence of the acid dissociation constant of DTPA verified that the Davies quation can be extended to μ = 1.0

TL;DR: A simple crystal controlled marginal oscillator of 7 components has been designed for the purpose of monitoring the nuclear target thickness as mentioned in this paper, and the stability of the oscillator under vacuum with water cooling is ± 1 cycle/h No drift is observed within 4 to 5 h.

TL;DR: It was concluded that the RISA prepared in the Tsing Hua Laboratory is acceptable for radiopharmaceutical use.
Abstract: By using iodine-131 prepared in the radioisotope laboratory of the National Tsing Hua University, a systematic study was carried out to prepare iodine-131 labelled human serum albumin (RISA) for domestic use as a radiopharmaceutical. Special emphasis was placed on the purification of RISA in an attempt to meet the specifications required by medical workers. The optimum conditions for radioiodination reaction and purification procedure are discussed in details. It was concluded that the RISA prepared in the Tsing Hua Laboratory is acceptable for radiopharmaceutical use.
