TL;DR: A clock control circuit which includes a frequency multiplying interpolator for generating and outputting multiphase clocks by frequency multiplying an input clock; a switch for outputting two of the multi-phase clocks input by the interpolator; a fine adjusting interpolator, to which the two outputs from the switch are applied, for producing a signal obtained by internally dividing the phase difference between two outputs; and a control circuit for controlling the switching of the switch and varying the internal-division ratio of the fine-adjusting interpolator as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A clock control circuit which includes a frequency multiplying interpolator for generating and outputting multiphase clocks by frequency multiplying an input clock; a switch for outputting two of the multiphase clocks input thereto from the frequency multiplying interpolator; a fine adjusting interpolator, to which the two outputs from the switch are applied, for outputting a signal obtained by internally dividing the phase difference between the two outputs; and a control circuit for controlling the switching of the switch and varying the internal-division ratio of the fine adjusting interpolator.

TL;DR: This paper introduces a class of methods called TES (Transform-Expand-Sample) for generating autocorrelated variates with uniform marginals and Markovian structure and reveals that TES methods give rise toAutocorrelation functions with monotone decreasing as well as oscillating magnitude, bounded by monotones envelopes.
Abstract: This paper introduces a class of methods called TES (Transform-Expand-Sample) for generating autocorrelated variates with uniform marginals and Markovian structure. TES methods are readily implemented on a computer and have generation complexity comparable to that of the i.i.d. uniform sequence which they transform to an autocorrelated uniform sequence. For any prescribed correlation coefficient ρ, there is a TES method generating a uniform sequence with the 1-lag autocorrelation ρ, and the resultant autocorrelation is monotonic quadratic in two structural TES parameters. A simulation study reveals that TES methods give rise to autocorrelation functions with monotone decreasing as well as oscillating magnitude, bounded by monotone envelopes. The structural parameters were found to control the “amplitude” and “frequency” of the resultant autocorrelation function. A third parameter can be used to transform a TES sequence into more continuous-looking versions and to control the skewness of sample path cycles...

TL;DR: In this paper, the authorisation of each user to use a printer is set in a security data base with respect to the number of sheets to be printed, kinds of sheets, and special printing functions.
Abstract: Authority of each user to use a printer is set in a security data base with respect to the number of sheets to be printed, kinds of sheets, and special printing functions. A print request, including the number of sheets to be printed, the kinds of sheets, and whether special printing functions are to be used are sent to a security validating device, and the security validating device decides whether authorization to use the printer is to be granted based on the restrictions on the user maintained in the data base and the status of the user. If printing is authorized, after the printing is completed, an editing device updates information on the status of use in the security data base.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for reproducing a signal, free of cross-talk and intersymbol interference, from an optical recording medium is presented. But it does not address the problem of inter-symbol interferences.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for reproducing a signal, free of cross-talk and intersymbol interference, from an optical recording medium. The signal reproducing apparatus and method is for use in combination with an optical source for emitting a plurality of light beams directed to a center track, which contains the information to be reproduced, and the tracks adjacent to the center track on a recording medium. The signals received from the reflections of the light beams from the adjacent tracks are processed by a frequency characteristic converter and then added to the signal from the center track to eliminate the cross-talk in the signal from the center track created by the signals from the adjacent tracks.
