TL;DR: In this paper, a path control device that controls first and second paths for accessing a peripheral subsystem, includes a command substituting unit that substitutes a first reserve command that allows an access through the first path, with a second reserve command allowing both of accesses through both of the first and the second paths.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a peripheral control processor for controlling data communication between a host processor and a peripheral unit in response to command signals applied to the host processor, which can produce the inhibition signal by using the command signals used for data communication.
Abstract: A peripheral control processor for controlling data communication between a host processor and a peripheral unit in response to command signals applied to the host processor. The peripheral control processor has an idle time or a standby condition when data communication is not required. When the peripheral control processor is idle or in a standby condition, a control circuit, within the processor inhibits a control clock signal which activates transistor elements of an internal circuit in the processor. Therefore, unnecessary power comsumption is reduced during idle time or a standby condition. Further, the control circuit can produce the inhibition signal by using the command signals used for data communication. Therefore, no new signals or terminals are required for applying input signals to the control circuit.

TL;DR: In this paper, a trigger definition means which defines activation condition an contents of a triggered operation activated upon execution of updating for a table further defines an operation where an exception is generated for an update request against the constraint given to the table.
Abstract: In a database management system of the present invention, a trigger definition means which defines activation condition an contents of a triggered operation activated upon execution of updating for a table further defines an operation where an exception is generated for an update request against the constraint given to the table, or a triggered operation based on the reference constraint given among a plurality of tables, or a triggered operation based on the relations among the system tables contained in the system directory. The trigger definition means also specifies an operation mode as a condition for execution of the triggered operation. The trigger execution means executes the triggered operation when the trigger operation mode designated by the update request and the operation mode specified in the trigger definition are the same and does not execute any trigger execution when they are not the same.

TL;DR: In this paper, a path control device includes a TE database and a local database for storing topology information showing states of use of links in a network, a path solution unit determining a path of the network referring to the local database, an internal update unit recognizing a link included in the determined path and updating a local DB by information as to said link.
Abstract: A path control device includes a TE database and a local database for storing topology information showing states of use of links in a network, a topology information collection unit collecting the topology information of the respective communication nodes therefrom and updating the TE database by the topology information, a path solution unit determining a path of the network referring to the local database, an internal update unit recognizing a link included in the determined path and updating a local database by information as to said link, and an update determination unit matching the topology information of both the databases by comparing both the databases.
