Abstract: The invention relates to a video compression method to be employed in connection with the conditional replenishment transmission and receiving method. In the transmitter there are detected such areas of the image that are changed with respect to the previous image, and the picture information representing the occurred changes, along with the addresses of the respective picture areas, is sent into the transmission channel. In the receiver there is reconstructed the new image on the basis of the previous image and the picture information representing the occurred changes. According to the invention, both in the transmitter and the receiver there is employed at least one reference memory (6; 14) whereinto a reference image of the transmitted picture information is stored and which reference memory is used so that whenever the transmitter recognizes a picture area to have changed, it is checked whether the changed picture information corresponds to the information stored in the respective location in the reference memory; if the answer is positive, the transmitter sends a code word informing te receiver that the required picture information must be picked from the reference memory; if the answer is negative, the picture information representing the changes occurred in the picture area is transmitted.

Abstract: Calibration system for the calibration of mass flow controllers (MFC1, MFC2, MFC3) of an apparatus used for a chemical vapour phase growth. Practice has shown that already minor deviations of the characteristics of the mass flow controllers from the ideal may be very disadvantageous in the production of the preform of an optic fiber, for instance. For the elimination of said problems, the present system comprises at least one mass flow meter (MFM1, MFM2) for measuring the characteristics of the mass flow controllers (MFC1, MFC2, MFC3) and means for calculating correction coefficients for the different controllers. The system preferably comprises at least one flow meter (MFM1, MFM2) for measuring at least the adjoining ranges of the mass flow controllers (MFC1, MFC2) covering adjacent flow ranges.

Abstract: Described herein is a method for the reception and the detection of digital signals. The treating screw is tubular and forms two separate treating spaces together with the frame, each space extending from the outer periphery of the treating screw around the end edge to the inner periphery of the screw. The outlet channel is ring-shaped and joins radially the inner periphery of the tubular treating screw.

The luminescent screen has an optimum color purity and in particular off-color combinations on the surface of the layer of the respective color should be avoided and is undesirable. For this purpose, the invention provides that the luminous colors of the luminophore layer 6 comprising the luminous colors red (R), green (G) and blue (B) are applied to the screen glass plate 1 in a raster of line-like systematic arrangements by using a silk screening process. Luminescent screen according to the invention is employed as a flat plasma picture screen.

Dadurch wird erreicht, das zur Programmierung in allen vorgesehenen Programmierbetriebsarten der gleiche Eingabetastschalter vorgesehen ist und das der gleiche Auswahltastschafter, mit dem die Programmierbetriebseinstellung der Steuerschaltung eingestellt wird, anschliesend auch zur sequentiellen Auswahl von Programmzeile und Datenwortplatz verwendet wird.
