TL;DR: In this article, a method of communicating information associated with provisioning of a service in a communication system and arrangement for the same is disclosed, where information about possible associations between an identifier of a mobile user equipment and user plane addresses is stored in storage means.
Abstract: A method of communicating information associated with provisioning of a service in a communication system and arrangement for the same is disclosed. In the method information about possible associations between an identifier of a mobile user equipment (10) and user plane addresses is stored in storage means (34). A service provisioning entity may receive a request for the service from a client (24) connected to the communication system. Said request includes an identifier of the mobile user equipment. It is verified if a user plane address can be found from the storage means based on the identifier. If such a user plane address is found from the storage means, data associated with provisioning of the requested service is communicated to the mobile user equipment over a user plane connection associated with said address found from the storage means. If no user plane address can be found from the storage means based on the identifier, a new user plane connection is established, and data associated with provisioning of the requested service is communicated to the mobile user equipment over said established user plane connection.

TL;DR: The results indicate that the WD is well suited for supporting CBT-based wellness management and considered as easy to use and useful in wellness management.
Abstract: The prevalence of lifestyle-related health problems is increasing rapidly. Many of the diseases and health risks could be prevented or alleviated by making changes toward healthier lifestyles. We have developed the Wellness Diary (WD), a concept for personal and mobile wellness management based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Two implementations of the concept were made for the Symbian Series 60 (S60) mobile phone platform, and their usability, usage, and acceptance were studied in two 3-month user studies. Study I was related to weight management and study II to general wellness management. In both the studies, the concept and its implementations were well accepted and considered as easy to use and useful in wellness management. The usage rate of the WD was high and sustained at a high level throughout the study. The average number of entries made per day was 5.32 (SD = 2.59, range = 0-14) in study I, and 5.48 (SD = 2.60, range = 0-17) in study II. The results indicate that the WD is well suited for supporting CBT-based wellness management.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method, system, network node and computer program for processing packet data in a communication network, which comprises at least a first network node, and the benefits of the invention relate to improved flexibility in introducing new value-added service for packet data and improved performance in the first node.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, system, network node and computer program for processing packet data in a communication network, which comprises at least a first network node. In the method a first packet is received at the first network node. In the first network node is assigned for the first packet a chain comprising at least two logical service entities based on at least one service determination rule. A data unit comprising at least part of the first packet is formed. The data unit is processed in at least one logical service entity in the chain and a second packet is transmitted from the first network node comprising data sent by at least one logical service entity in the chain. The benefits of the invention relate to improved flexibility in introducing new value-added service for packet data and improved performance in the first network node.

TL;DR: It is shown that it is possible to control which outcoupling diffraction order, reflective or transmissive, is dominating and hence to maximize the light power to one direction.
Abstract: Diffractive slanted gratings are manufactured onto plastic light guides using a high refractive index material and UV replication technology. We show that the manufacturing of such components is possible in large quantities. The applications of the slanted gratings are a high efficiency light in- and outcoupling with plastic light guides. We also show that it is possible to control which outcoupling diffraction order, reflective or transmissive, is dominating and hence to maximize the light power to one direction.

TL;DR: In this article, a scheme to eavesdrop on a call by removing information about an encryption algorithm when a multimode mobile station sends an unpro-tected initial signaling message containing this information over the radio interface to the mobile telecommunications system is presented.
Abstract: A fraudulent intruder can eavesdrop on a call by removing information about an encryption algorithm when a multimode mobile station sends an unpro-tected initial signaling message containing this information over the radio interface to the mobile telecommunications system. The attempt can be pre-vented in a universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) comprising at least two radio access networks providing mobile stations with access to at least one core network, a multimode mobile station, and at least one core network. During connection setup with a first radio access network, the mul-timode mobile station sends an unprotected initial signaling message that includes information about those encryption algorithms that the multimode mobile station supports when it communicates in a second radio access network. The first radio access network saves some or all the information of it. Then it composes and sends an integrity-protected message that includes information about the encryption algorithms supported by the multimode mobile station in the second radio access network.
