28 May 2008TL;DR: In this article, a method including detecting a selection of a plurality of erroneous words in text presented on a display of a device, in an automatic speech recognition system, receiving sequentially dictated corrections for the selected erroneous words, in a single continuous operation where each dictated correction corresponds to at least one of the selected incorrect words, and replacing the plurality of incorrect words with one or more corresponding words of the dictated corrections where each erroneous word is matched with the one or multiple corresponding words in an order the erroneous words appear according to a reading direction of the text.
Abstract: A method including detecting a selection of a plurality of erroneous words in text presented on a display of a device, in an automatic speech recognition system, receiving sequentially dictated corrections for the selected erroneous words in a single, continuous operation where each dictated correction corresponds to at least one of the selected erroneous words, and replacing the plurality of erroneous words with one or more corresponding words of the dictated corrections where each erroneous word is matched with the one or more corresponding words of the dictated corrections in an order the erroneous words appear according to a reading direction of the text.

31 Jul 2002TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a mobile module with a plurality of walls, where the walls define a module cavity, and the module cavity is configured to slideable receive the mobile module.
Abstract: A protective enclosure for a mobile module. The enclosure includes a pouch having a plurality of walls. The walls define a module cavity, and the module cavity is configured to slideably receive the mobile module. The pouch may be constructed of shock absorbent and/or flexible materials, such as rubber, woven textiles, and soft plastics. The mobile module is removable from the pouch, and a connector may be used to electrically couple the pouch with the mobile module.

16 Dec 1997TL;DR: In this paper, the ringing tone is transformed into characters containing specifications of notes and the characters are sent to the telephone, e.g., in a short message, and the received characters are modified into such a form that they can be stored in a memory.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for programming a ringing tone of a telephone, wherein, in the telephone, the ringing tone is stored in a ringing tone memory and reproduced by means of sound reproduction devices as a response to an incoming call. In the method, the ringing tone is transformed into characters containing specifications of notes and the characters are sent to the telephone, e.g., in a short message. In the telephone, the received characters are modified into such a form that they can be stored in a memory.

20 Feb 2002TL;DR: In this article, a mobile device comprising of a display is proposed to display a three-dimensional polyhedron as a graphical user interface, where different pieces of information that are to be presented to a user of the mobile device are associated to different facets of the polyhedra and the visible facets present at least a hint on a respectively associated piece of information.
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile device comprising a display. In order to offer a user a more extensive immediate overview over the information available to a specific topic, it is proposed that the mobile device comprises processing means for presenting on the display a three-dimensional polyhedron as graphical user interface. Different pieces of information that are to be presented to a user of the mobile device are associated to different facets of this polyhedron, and the visible facets of the polyhedron present at least a hint on a respectively associated piece of information to a user of the mobile device. It is further proposed that the mobile device comprises means for enabling a user to cause the processing means to rotate the facets of the presented polyhedron. The invention relates equally to a corresponding graphical user interface and to a corresponding method for presenting such a graphical user interface.
