TL;DR: New delay-dependent stability criteria for RNNs with time-varying delay are derived by applying this weighting-delay method, which are less conservative than previous results.
Abstract: In this paper, a weighting-delay-based method is developed for the study of the stability problem of a class of recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with time-varying delay. Different from previous results, the delay interval [0, d(t)] is divided into some variable subintervals by employing weighting delays. Thus, new delay-dependent stability criteria for RNNs with time-varying delay are derived by applying this weighting-delay method, which are less conservative than previous results. The proposed stability criteria depend on the positions of weighting delays in the interval [0, d(t)], which can be denoted by the weighting-delay parameters. Different weighting-delay parameters lead to different stability margins for a given system. Thus, a solution based on optimization methods is further given to calculate the optimal weighting-delay parameters. Several examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.

TL;DR: This study attempts to study critical success factors affecting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation success in China with focus on both generic and unique factors.
Abstract: ERP implementation issues have been given much attention since two decades ago due to its low implementation success. Nearly 90 percent of ERP implementations are late or over budget (Martin, 1998) and the success rate with ERP implementation is about 33%. In China, the success rate of implementing ERP systems is extremely low at 10% (Zhu and Ma, 1999) which is much lower than that in West countries. This study attempts to study critical success factors affecting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems implementation success in China with focus on both generic and unique factors. User satisfaction and White's ABCD classification method are used to judge whether an ERP system implementation is a success or a failure. Survey methodology and structural equation modeling technique of PLS-graph are used to collect and analyze data. Discussions on the results of data analysis are made.

TL;DR: A stabilization problem for nonlinear uncertain systems via adaptive backstepping approach is considered, and a designed controller together with the quantizer ensures the stability of the closed-loop system in the sense of signal boundedness.
Abstract: In this paper, we study a general class of strict feedback nonlinear systems, where the input signal takes quantized values. We consider a stabilization problem for nonlinear uncertain systems via adaptive backstepping approach. The control design is achieved by introducing a hysteretic quantizer to avoid chattering and using backstepping technique. A guideline is derived to select the parameters of the quantizer. The designed controller together with the quantizer ensures the stability of the closed-loop system in the sense of signal boundedness.

TL;DR: For the first time, GFHMs are used to approximate the solutions (value functions) of the coupled HJ equations, based on policy iteration algorithm, and the approximation solution is utilized to obtain the optimal coordination control.
Abstract: In this paper, a new online scheme is presented to design the optimal coordination control for the consensus problem of multiagent differential games by fuzzy adaptive dynamic programming, which brings together game theory, generalized fuzzy hyperbolic model (GFHM), and adaptive dynamic programming. In general, the optimal coordination control for multiagent differential games is the solution of the coupled Hamilton-Jacobi (HJ) equations. Here, for the first time, GFHMs are used to approximate the solutions (value functions) of the coupled HJ equations, based on policy iteration algorithm. Namely, for each agent, GFHM is used to capture the mapping between the local consensus error and local value function. Since our scheme uses the single-network architecture for each agent (which eliminates the action network model compared with dual-network architecture), it is a more reasonable architecture for multiagent systems. Furthermore, the approximation solution is utilized to obtain the optimal coordination control. Finally, we give the stability analysis for our scheme, and prove the weight estimation error and the local consensus error are uniformly ultimately bounded. Further, the control node trajectory is proven to be cooperative uniformly ultimately bounded.
