TL;DR: A wheel support bearing assembly, which enables an increase in the strength and the fatigue strength of its wheel mounting flange or vehicle body fitting flange against high stress and repeated stress and the suppression of the increase of the number of processes, includes an inner member and an outer member rotatable relative to each other through rolling elements as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A wheel support bearing assembly, which enables an increase in the strength and the fatigue strength of its wheel mounting flange or vehicle body fitting flange against high stress and repeated stress and the suppression of the increase of the number of processes, includes an inner member and an outer member rotatable relative to each other through rolling elements. The flange is formed on the inner member or the outer member, for example, a hub. A component part having the flange is a hot-forged product of steel in which a matrix portion is formed as a standard structure and the non-standard structural portion is formed on the surface of the flange. The non-standard structure is formed of either of a fine ferrite/pearlite structure, an upper bainite structure, a lower bainite structure, and a tempered martensite structure, or mixture of two or more of these structures.

TL;DR: A wheel bearing device comprises a rotor having a double row of raceway surfaces and having a wheel fixed thereto, an outer ring with a flange to be fixed to a knuckle disposed on the car body side, and a double-row of rolling bodies interposed between the respective raceways surfaces of the rotor and outer ring as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A wheel bearing device comprises a rotor having a double row of raceway surfaces and having a wheel fixed thereto, an outer ring having a double row of raceway surfaces and a flange to be fixed to a knuckle disposed on the car body side, and a double row of rolling bodies interposed between the respective raceway surfaces of the rotor and outer ring. A pulser ring is disposed between the double row of raceway surfaces of the rotor, and a sensor opposed to the pulser ring is held by a holding member held between the flange of the outer ring and the knuckle, whereby the sensor can be disposed in the bearing inner space.

TL;DR: In this article, an outer pin holder and a housing in a speed reducer section at their predetermined positions are maintained to prevent damage to such components as revolving members, outer circumferential engagers, and motion conversion mechanism upon a large axial load due to turning or sudden acceleration/deceleration, etc.
Abstract: An object of the invention is to always maintain an outer pin holder and a housing in a speed reducer section at their predetermined positions, to prevent damage to such components as revolving members, outer circumferential engagers, and motion conversion mechanism upon a large axial load due to turning or sudden acceleration/deceleration, etc., and to eliminate rattling noise caused by the housing and the outer pin holder. A casing immobilizing member which is fixed to an inner surface of a speed reducer section casing and a housing immobilizing member which is fixed to an outer surface of a speed reducer section housing are provided between the speed reducer section casing and the speed reducer section housing. The casing immobilizing member and the housing immobilizing member are bonded with each other via a rubber member.

TL;DR: The inner race has a counterbore at its inboard end and the hub axle has a plastically deformed portion which engages an axially oriented surface of the counterbores when radially outwardly crimped and does not protrude outwardly beyond an inner race.
Abstract: To provide a wheel support bearing assembly, in which the sufficient proof strength of an inner race during assemblage onto the vehicle body can be secured without its function being lowered, the wheel support bearing assembly includes an outer member, an inner member, and rows of rolling elements interposed therebetween. The inner member includes an hub axle having a flange and an inner race on an inner race mount, with raceways defined in the hub axle and the inner race. The inner race has a counterbore at its inboard end. The hub axle has a plastically deformed portion which engages an axially oriented surface of the counterbore when radially outwardly crimped and does not protrude outwardly beyond an inboard end face of the inner race. The difference P between the inner race mount and an outer peripheral face of the plastically deformed portion is 0.13 mm or more.

TL;DR: In this paper, an axial member is supported in a non-contact manner by an oil film formed in a radial bearing gap, and a bearing sleeve is fixed on the inner periphery of a housing.
Abstract: The preset invention aims to improve the assembly accuracy and rotation accuracy of a fluid bearing device, and to further reduce the cost thereof. A bearing sleeve is fixed on the inner periphery of a housing. An axial member is supported in a non-contact manner in a radial direction by an oil film formed in a radial bearing gap. The housing made of resin is injection molded with the use of a substrate as an insert part. On the substrate, a control circuit for controlling a polygon scanner motor is mounted.
