29 Jan 2003TL;DR: In this article, an instruction unit is configured to generate a command to a mobility control unit performing processing in accordance with movement of a mobile communication terminal; a command providing unit was configured to obtain the command from the instruction unit and provide the command to the mobility controller.
Abstract: A mobility control apparatus comprises: a mobility control unit configured to perform a first processing in accordance with movement of a mobile communication terminal and generate a notification related to the first processing; a processing unit configured to perform a second processing different from the first processing performed by the mobility control unit, based on the notification; and a notification providing unit configured to obtain the notification from the mobility control unit and provide the notification to the processing unit. Moreover, the mobility control apparatus comprises: an instruction unit configured to generate a command to a mobility control unit performing processing in accordance with movement of a mobile communication terminal; a command providing unit configured to obtain the command from the instruction unit and provide the command to the mobility control unit; and the mobility control unit configured to perform the processing based on the command.

13 May 2015TL;DR: In this paper, a radio base station is disclosed to communicate with a user terminal that is capable of using a licensed band and an unlicensed band and has a control section that controls the transmission of downlink signals in the unlicensed bands using LBT (Listen Before Talk), a selection section that selects the symbol to execute LBT, randomly, with equal probability, from a plurality of candidate symbols, and an acquiring section that acquires a measurement result, in which the received signal intensity in the LBT period is measured.
Abstract: A radio base station is disclosed to communicate with a user terminal that is capable of using a licensed band and an unlicensed band and has a control section that controls the transmission of downlink signals in the unlicensed band using LBT (Listen Before Talk), a selection section that selects the symbol to execute LBT, randomly, with equal probability, from a plurality of candidate symbols, and an acquiring section that acquires a measurement result, in which the received signal intensity in the LBT period is measured, wherein when the control section judges that the channel of the unlicensed band is in an idle state from the measurement result of received signal intensity, the control section executes control so that a beacon reference signal is transmitted in all of the candidate symbols that follow the symbol in which LBT was executed.

18 Jul 2014TL;DR: In this paper, the authors designed an uplink uplink transmission protocol that can carry out CA even when CA is executed by applying different duplex modes between multiple cells, and the feedback control section allocates and feeds back delivery acknowledgement signals in response to the DL signals in a predetermined UL subframe.
Abstract: The present invention is designed to carry out uplink transmission adequately even when CA is executed by applying different duplex modes between multiple cells. A user terminal communicates with an FDD cell and a TDD cell that employ carrier aggregation, and has a receiving section that receives DL signals transmitted from each cell, and a feedback control section that allocates and feeds back delivery acknowledgement signals in response to the DL signals in a predetermined UL subframe, and, regardless of which cell is configured as a primary cell, the feedback control section, when transmitting only a delivery acknowledgement signal in response to the DL signal of one cell, transmits the delivery acknowledgement signal from the one cell by using a PUCCH resource that is determined from a downlink control channel resource of the DL signal, and, when transmitting delivery acknowledgement signals in response to the DL signals of both cells, transmits the delivery acknowledgement signals by using a PUCCH resource of one or both of the cells.

02 Nov 2005TL;DR: In this article, the status of a base station is determined by a service area status determination unit based on received signals from mobile stations, and a total transmission power determination unit is configured to determine status of total transmission powers of the base station.
Abstract: A base station is disclosed. The base station includes: a service area status determination unit configured to determine status of a service area of the base station based on received signals from mobile stations; a total transmission power determination unit configured to determine status of total transmission power of the base station based on total transmission power of surrounding base stations; a transmission power determination unit configured to determine transmission power of a common control channel of the base station based on the status of the service area and the status of the total transmission power; and a transmission power setting unit configured to set the transmission power determined by the transmission power determination unit.
