TL;DR: In this paper, a mobile terminal (11) has a built-in or mounted UIM (12) having a plurality of storage areas, and a content server (19) delivers a program and data used when the program is executed or a single program unit via a network including a radio network.
Abstract: A mobile terminal (11) has a built-in or mounted UIM (12) having a plurality of storage areas. Upon reception of a delivery request from the mobile terminal (11), a content server (19) delivers a program and data used when the program is executed or a single program unit via a network including a radio network. The program and the data or the single program unit are stored in a storage area of the UIM (12) without passing them through a control block of the mobile terminal (11).

TL;DR: In this article, a method and apparatus for constraining the behavior of embedded script in documents using program instrumentation is presented, which includes downloading a document with a script program embedded therein, inspecting the script program, and rewriting the script programs to cause behavior resulting from execution of the script to conform to one or more policies defining safety and security.
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed herein for constraining the behavior of embedded script in documents using program instrumentation. In one embodiment, the method comprises downloading a document with a script program embedded therein, inspecting the script program, and rewriting the script program to cause behavior resulting from execution of the script to conform to one or more policies defining safety and security. The script program comprises self-modifying code (e.g., dynamically generated script).

TL;DR: This paper explains the proposed radio propagation prediction model using convolutional neural networks by deep learning in detail, and clarifies its performance by evaluating behaviors for map-parameters input to CNN.
Abstract: Recently, advancement of artificial intelligence has been remarkable, and many applied researches are attracting attention now. Most of them are based on deep learning. Here, we have proposed radio propagation prediction model using convolutional neural networks (CNN) by deep learning. This paper explains our proposed model in detail, and clarifies its performance by evaluating behaviors for map-parameters input to CNN.

TL;DR: In this article, a transmission power control method for a CDMA system including the steps of calculating an actual SIR (Signal-to-Interference Ratio) of a desired signal is presented.
Abstract: A transmission power control method for a CDMA system including the steps of calculating an actual SIR (Signal-to-Interference Ratio) of a desired signal; deciding whether the actual SIR is greater than a predetermined reference SIR which satisfies a predetermined communication quality; forming a transmission power control bit on the basis of a result of deciding; inserting the transmission power control bit periodically into a forward frame, which steps are performed at the base station, and steps of calculating tentative reverse transmission power in accordance with the transmission power control bit in the forward frame; deciding reverse transmission power such that the reverse transmission power is made equal to the tentative reverse transmission power when the tentative reverse transmission power is less than a predetermined maximum transmission power, but otherwise made equal to the predetermined maximum transmission power; and transmitting a signal from the mobile station to the base station at the reverse transmission power, which steps are performed at the mobile station. This makes it possible to prevent the transmission power from diverging to the maximum output of a transmitter power amplifier.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and an apparatus of transmitting a burst signal when the burst signal is transmitted from a transmitting station to a receiving station at a transmission power value and/or a transmission rate determined in accordance with a state of a radio channel between the transmitting and receiving station in a mobile communication system is presented.
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus of transmitting a burst signal when the burst signal is transmitted from a transmitting station to a receiving station at a transmission power value and/or a transmission rate determined in accordance with a state of a radio channel between the transmitting and receiving station in a mobile communication system, based on a comparison result between a criterion predetermined according to a state of the radio channel and/or a transmission waiting state of the signal, whether or not the burst signal is to be transmitted is determined, and, when it is determined that the burst signal is to be transmitted, the burst signal is transmitted from the transmitting station to the receiving station.
