Abstract: Internet of Things environment has collection of communication system of various devices with few heterogeneous and homogeneous characteristics, where each device has unique identification address for activate action over network. The main purpose of gathering information is to process the communications and evolution. IOT applications face several challenges such as energy efficiency, reliable communication, latency awareness, etc. The most emerging requirement in IOT application is to implement an effective energy conscious communication protocols and clustering techniques. These techniques are reducing energy utilization of nodes and increase the network lifetime and scalability. A robust clustering technique is essential for self-organizing sensor networks. Proposed work on this paper is hybrid method of LEACH with firefly technique for optimal cluster head selection. The proposed hybridization methods used for best clustering with cluster head also enhance the energy level of node and improved lifetime of networks. Simulation results have shown the improved performance of proposed task.

Abstract: In recent years, detecting text in natural is an emerging problem and gained increasing attention from the computer vision community. Detecting text in natural scene text image is an important step for number of applications such as computerized aid for visually impaired, automatic sign reading, language translation and navigation. Natural scene text image may contain complex background and increased the challenges for the research community in detection and recognition. The novel scene text recognition method uses Part-based tree-structure model to improve the performance of the system by modeling each category of character to detect and recognize simultaneously. For word recognition, Soft Output Viterbi Algorithm was used to improve the measure of reliability in hard bit decision of the Viterbi algorithm. It maximizes the character sequence posterior probability using Bayesian decision view and n-gram model. To evaluate the performance of the system Char74k dataset was used for character detection and two more datasets ICDAR2003 and SVT was used for word recognition.

Abstract: Power Distribution systems are one of the most critical links between utility and utility customers. Control of power loss in distribution systems is desperately essential considering the economic aspects. Reconfiguration, Capacitor Placement, and Phase Balancing are the different methods practiced for power loss reduction. Due to the unbalanced nature of the distribution system, phase balancing is considered as the effective one amongst the above mentioned three methods. Unbalanced feeders not only increase power losses and the risk of overload situations, but they also affect power quality and electricity prices. A severely unbalanced circuit can result in excessive voltage drops on the heavy phase. Even a feeder system is intended as a balanced feeder supported the given load data, load prediction errors and unbalanced load growth can induce feeder imbalance. Phase swapping is a direct and effective way to balance a feeder in terms of phases. It has been practiced by engineers based on their previous experiences, and trial and error for phase balancing. In this paper, a phase swapping algorithm based on Stud Krill Herd Algorithm (SKHA) has been developed to minimize the phase current deviation amongst the phases. The validation of the proposed algorithm is done through two standard test cases and simulation results are compared with literature.

Abstract: Students entering college have different characteristics, which can impacttheir performance in the classroom. The college conducts the Intelligence Structure Test totest the IQ of the students entering the campus. Till these days’ classification process isdone manually which takes long number of days. Data mining technique is used forclassifying the required patterns from the data set. C5.0 algorithm is used forclassification to minimize the time of psychologists in classifying data. This examinationcomprised of 10 standards including 350 information and brought about yield as four sortsof understudy's IQ order comprising of extremely unrivaled, predominant, better thanexpected and normal classifications. In light of the test outcomes arrangement ofunderstudy IQs is acquired as 86%.

Abstract: The rapidly increasing population causes long waiting times for taking bus pass. Diagnosing record of continuous information of every who are on the whole utilizing transport passes, Bus pass automation would be beneficial for government to implement better rates for passes and also it would be useful for people who forget to renew their bus passes. Also taking tickets in aMetropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC)bus is a tedious process now-a-days. In this project, to renew bus passes using android mobile application. This system renews the bus pass through online and the bill is generated with the QR code to the user. This system also provides a special feature to notifythe users when the bus pass is about to expire. The QR code can be scanned and the app is also used to take print out of the pass, so that it can be shown to the conductors who are unfamiliar with android phones. Thereby, this Bus Pass Renewal System Project is a real-time project which is helpful for the people who are facing issues with the present manual work of bus pass renewal.
