Abstract: Geometric parameters of the title compound, C14H19NO3S, are in the usual ranges. In one of the two molecules in the asymmetric unit two methylene groups of the cyclohexene ring are disordered over two positions with site occupation factors of 0.612 (5) and 0.388 (5). Taking only the major occupied sites into account, the two molecules show essentially the same geometric parameters (r.m.s. deviation for all non-H atoms 0.084 angstrom). There is an intramolecular N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond. The molecules crystallize in planes parallel to (220).
