Abstract: Sentence Clustering is performed based on the key terms in sentences within a document or group of documents. A sentence may come under different topics in a single document with different word of similar meaning which will not be clustered correctly by using hierarchical clustering methods. Hierarchical clustering methods are robust. They are not very efficient as its time complexity is O (n2). To overcome this problem, K-means type algorithms are used, but it handles only few documents. A proposed algorithm uses both hierarchical and partitional clustering method alternatively. It increases the accuracy and reduces the time complexity for multiple news articles. It is applied to group the text spans from multiple news articles that refer to the same event.

Abstract: In the title compound, C22H18F2O3, the two fluoro-substituted rings form dihedral angles of 25.89 (15) and 55.00 (12)° with the central benzene ring. The eth­oxy group in the mol­ecule is disordered over two positions with a site-occupancy ratio of 0.662 (7):0.338 (7). In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds into chains along the a axis. The crystal packing is further stabilized by C—H⋯π and π—π inter­actions, with centroid–centroid distances of 3.8605 (15) A.

Abstract: This work consists of preparation of thin films of polylactide nanocomposite by doping polylactide with Nano Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3) and Nano Cupric Oxide (CuO). Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used to study the morphology of the prepared nanocomposites and the tensile behavior of the thin films was also studied. A novel attempt of using ANSYS® Workbench to simulate the tensile behavior and the electrical behavior of the polylactide nanocomposite thin films was made. This study revealed that despite doping polylactide in very small concentrations (1 and 3 mg) of nano powders, the tensile strength, Young’s Modulus and ductility of the doped samples have improved significantly in the presence on agglomeration of the nano powders in the polymer matrix. The Finite Element Analysis was in agreement with the experimental values. This work suggests polylactide doped with 1 mg Nano Al2O3 for semiconducting polymer applications.
