Abstract: Metallic Ag nanoparticles (Ag0) were successfully activated using a direct in situ electrochemical method before being supported on TiO2. Catalytic testing showed that 5 wt% Ag–TiO2 gave the highest photodegradation (94%) of 50 mg L-1 2-chlorophenol (2-CP) at pH 5 using 0.375 g L-1 catalyst within 6 h, while under similar conditions, 1 wt% and 10 wt% Ag–TiO2 only gave 75% and 78% degradation, respectively. Characterization results illustrated that the photoactivity was affected by the amount of Ag0 and oxygen vacancies which act as an electrons trap to enhance the electron–hole separation. While, the Agsingle bondOsingle bondTi bonds formation reduced the photoactivity. The degradation followed a pseudo-first order Langmuir–Hinshelwood model where adsorption was the controlling step. Study on the effect of scavengers showed that the hole (H+) and hydroxyl radical (OHradical dot) play important roles in the photodegradation. The regenerated photocatalyst was still stable after five cycling runs.

Abstract: Lanjut usia merupakan tahap akhir perkembangan pada daur kehidupan manusia yang merupakan suatu proses alami yang tidak dapat dihindari oleh setiap individu. Perubahan-perubahan fisologis maupun psikososial, akan berpotensi pada masalah kesehatan baik fisik maupun psikologis. Salah satu masalah psikologis yang sering terjadi pada lanjut usia pada kondisi kehidupan sosial adalah kecemasan. Kecemasan diartikan suatu kondisi emosi yang menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan ditandai dengan perasan khawatir, kegelisahan dan ketakutan sehingga dapat mengganggu kehidupan. Naskah ini mencoba untuk kemaparkan konsep kecemasan dan aspek yang terkait dengan kecemasan yang dialami lansia secara umum dan panti jompo secara khusus.

Abstract: Siswa yang mengalami stres akademik memiliki persepsi yang maladaptif terhadap tuntutan akademik. Stres akademik adalah persepsi subjektif terhadap suatu kondisi akademik atau respon yang dialami siswa berupa reaksi fisik, perilaku, pikiran, dan emosi negatif yang muncul akibat adanya tuntutan sekolah atau akademik. Hal ini menunjukkan perlu adanya upaya guru Bimbingan dan Konseling atau konselor untuk melakukan pengembangan pada praktik pelayanan Binbingan dan konseling untuk meningkatkan kualitas atau potensi siswa dalam mengantisipasi muculnya stres akademik siswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi munculnya stres akademik. Naskah ini akan mengenalkan konsep dasar stres akademik siswa meliputi; konsep stres, konsep stres akademik, faktor yang mempengaruhi stres akademik, gejala-gejala stres akademik, respon stres akademik. Semoga ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu rujukan.

Abstract: This study aimed to reveal the achievement level of (1) learning motivation of vocational high school students, (2) the productive competencies of vocational high school students, and (3) the effect of learning motivation on productive competencies of West Sumatra vocational high school students The study used is the descriptive quantitative method The number of population was 2929 students The sample, consisting of 160 students, was taken by using the multistage random sampling technique The data, collected using a questionnaire and documentation, were analyzed using the descriptive and inferential analyses The study found that: (1) the learning motivation of vocational high school students was in good category, (2) productive competencies of students were in the good category, (3) there was a positive and significant influence of the learning motivation on the productive competencies of West Sumatra vocational high school students by 115 %, and (4) This means that the new policy of vocational education should be taken by local government to learning process in improving the productive competencies of vocational students in West Sumatera region
