24 Nov 1999TL;DR: In this article, Cartographic files are stored in a first storage device and the data processing portion executes a process of searching for a route by using the cartographic files during route search, the route search is based on the coordinate information about the neighboring nodes of said one unit and said neighboring another unit.
Abstract: A terminal device for reading a cartographic file in which updating one cartographic file does not require updating cartographic files in the neighboring units For this purpose, cartographic files which represent respective units extracted by dividing a map into a plurality of areas each comprise node records generated for respective nodes and link records generated for respective links Given node records contain coordinate information about neighboring nodes which define connections of roads between its unit and a neighboring unit The cartographic files are stored in a first storage device The data processing portion executes a process of searching for a route by using the cartographic files During the route search, the data processing portion traces the connection from a road in one unit to a road in another, neighboring, unit on the basis of the coordinate information about the neighboring nodes of said one unit and said neighboring another unit

20 May 2015TL;DR: In this article, a gas barrier film includes two or more first barrier layers each made of a first inorganic material and one or more second barrier layers, each of which is constructed by atomic layer deposition.
Abstract: A gas barrier film includes two or more first barrier layers each made of a first inorganic material and one or more second barrier layers each made of a second inorganic material different from the first inorganic material. Each of the two or more first barrier layers and each of the one or more second barrier layers are alternately stacked. The first inorganic material comprises aluminum oxide. Each of the two or more first barrier layers has a thickness of 3 nm or more. The total thickness of the two or more first barrier layers is 20 nm or less. The two or more first barrier layers and the one or more second barrier layers are formed by atomic layer deposition.

23 Apr 2004TL;DR: In this paper, a method for controlling a radio cell change of a communication terminal from a first radio cell to a second radio cell, wherein the first and the second radio cells are controlled by at least one base station of a mobile communication system, is presented.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling a radio cell change of a communication terminal from a first radio cell to a second radio cell, wherein the first and the second radio cell is controlled by at least one base station of a mobile communication system. The present invention further provides a base station and a communication system comprising a plurality of base stations and a communication terminal adapted to execute the control method. To overcome negative impacts of data loss and delay during a cell change procedure the protocol context of a retransmission protocols are transferred from a source base station to a target base station upon an cell change of a communication terminal in issue.

02 Jul 1997TL;DR: In this paper, a system for generating electric power by using fuel cells in which a hydrogen gas in a modified gas and oxygen in the air is reacted, by using a portable butane gas cylinder containing butane gases as fuel, using part of the butane as a fuel gas, and generating the modified gas containing the hydrogen gas by causing a reaction between the remaining butane and water in a modifying device.
Abstract: A system for generating electric power by using fuel cells in which a hydrogen gas in a modified gas and oxygen in the air is reacted, by using a portable butane gas cylinder containing butane gas as fuel, using part of the butane gas as a fuel gas, and generating the modified gas containing the hydrogen gas by causing a reaction between the remaining butane gas and water in a modifying device. The system is provided with a means which adjusts the gasified amount of butane from the butane gas cylinder and a butane gas flow rate adjusting means installed in the flow passage for supplying the butane gas from the cylinder to the modifying device. The system is portable.

TL;DR: In this paper, the formation of the Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 solid solution in the system PbO-TiO2-ZrO2 was studied by chemical analysis and X-ray powder diffrac-tometry.
Abstract: Formation of the Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 solid solution in the system PbO-TiO2-ZrO2 was studied by chemical analysis and X-ray powder diffrac-tometry. Only PbTiO3 and Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 were found as reaction products. The following three elementary reactions seemed to be reasonable for the formation of the Pb(Zr,Ti)O3 phase: PbO + TiO2→ PbTiO3, PbTiO3+ PbO + ZrO2→Pb(Zr1-λTiλ)O3, and Pb(Zrl-λTiλ)O3+ PbTiO3→ Pb(Zr1-λ′Tiλ′)O3 (λ<λ′).
