TL;DR: In this article, an insulating base board consisting of an enzyme and an electron acceptor is used to form a spacer and a cover, and the sample solution is introduced into its inside, while the air within the space (8) is rapidly discharged through the outlet (11) and, at the same time, the space is filled with the sample up to the neighborhood of the outlet.
Abstract: A biosensor of the invention comprises an insulating base board (1) having formed thereon, in sequence, leads (2, 3, 3'), an electrode system mainly made of carbon (4, 5, 5'), an insulating layer (6) and a reaction layer (14) composed of an enzyme and an electron acceptor, and being provided thereon with a space (8) defined by a spacer (7) and a cover 9). When a biological sample solution is brought into contact with the inlet (10) of the biosensor having the above-described structure, the sample solution is introduced into its inside, while the air within the space (8) is rapidly discharged through the outlet (11) and, at the same time, the space (8) is filled with the sample solution up to the neighborhood of the outlet. Thus, measurement can be conducted inexpensively at a high speed with a high accuracy through simple procedures without residual bubbles.

TL;DR: In this paper, a packet transmitting apparatus capable of transmitting a copyright-protected content across an IP network includes: a transmission condition setting/managing unit (403 ) that extracts from inputted non-A/V data or A/V Data at least one information of billing information, reproduction control information, copy control information for the A/v data, and packet output control information.
Abstract: A packet transmitting apparatus ( 401 ) capable of transmitting a copyright-protected content across an IP network includes: a transmission condition setting/managing unit ( 403 ) that extracts from inputted non-A/V data or A/V data at least one information of billing information, reproduction control information, copy control information for the A/V data, and packet output control information, and generate encryption mode information indicating an encryption mode which becomes a condition during transmission of the A/V data; an encrypted data generation unit ( 422 ) that encrypts inputted A/V data based on a transmission condition determined by combining input terminal information, data format information, and attribute information, and adds an encryption information header based on the encryption mode information and time-based discontinuity information to the encrypted A/V data so as to generate encrypted data; and a packetization unit ( 406 ) that generates a packet by adding a packet header and information representing a time-based discontinuity point to the generated encryption data.

TL;DR: In this article, the bitmap is located within the printed medium by moving a window, in stepwise fashion in a predetermined pattern across the print medium, in order to determine the skew angle.
Abstract: Two-dimensional barcodes surrounded by a quiet zone of white space which may or may not include a border, each barcode having encoded digital information in a bitmap representing preferably randomized encoded data bits, are printed onto a printed medium. To extract the encoded digital information from the printed medium, the printed medium is scanned, then the bitmap is located within the printed medium by moving a window, in stepwise fashion in a predetermined pattern across the printed medium. At each step the portion of the printed medium which is encompassed by the window is tested to determine whether it conforms to one or more characteristics of the bitmap. The skew of the bitmap, if any, is determined, by using a finite-state recognizer in combination with a Hough Transform calculation. In one embodiment, the candidate region is divided into a plurality of horizontal regions, preliminary skew angles are calculated for each region, and the actual skew angle is selected using a voting scheme. Once the skew angle is calculated, the bitmap is deskewed if necessary, cropped, and the randomized digital information is read from the bitmap. Finally, the digital information is derandomized and any error correction codes are removed, in the process correcting and/or recording any errors discovered, thereby reproducing the original encoded digital information.

TL;DR: In this article, a resist pattern is formed by selectively irradiating the resist film with exposing light while supplying water onto the resist pattern, and the pattern is developed so as to form resist pattern.
Abstract: After forming a resist film including a hygroscopic compound, pattern exposure is performed by selectively irradiating the resist film with exposing light while supplying water onto the resist film. After the pattern exposure, the resist film is developed so as to form a resist pattern.

TL;DR: In this article, a novel amine compounds useful as electron-transporting materials to be incorporated in organic electro-luminescence devices is presented. But the present amine compound is not suitable for use in the display unit.
Abstract: The present invention provides novel amine compounds useful as electron-transporting materials to be incorporated in organic electro-luminescence devices. More particularly, the present invention provides an organic electro-luminescence device (organic EL device) which can find wide application in various display units, requires a low applied voltage and exhibits a high luminance and an excellent stability.
