TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to provide a contactless IC tag for storing secret information for each multiple stages of a life cycle from manufacture to disposal, and an access device for reading/writing information in secrecy from/to the contactless ID tag for each stage.
Abstract: To provide a contactless IC tag for storing secret information for each of multiple stages of a life cycle from manufacture to disposal, and an access device for reading/writing information in secrecy from/to the contactless IC tag for each stage. A memory unit has stage storage areas as many as the stages. Each stage storage area is identified by a secret stage identifier. A controlling unit receives an access identifier from the access device in secrecy, via an antenna unit, a demodulating unit, and an instruction decoding unit. Upon judging that the access identifier properly identifies one of the stage storage areas, the controlling unit receives access information from the access device, and an inputting/outputting unit accesses the stage storage area based on the access information.

TL;DR: In this paper, an optical reflecting element includes a mirror, and a pair of high-frequency vibrators and two low-frequency oscillators for vibrating the mirror, one end of the vibrator has the substrate shared with the highfrequency vibrator, a bottom electrode layer formed on the substrate, a piezoelectric layer and a drive electrode and a first monitor electrode as the top electrode layer.
Abstract: An optical reflecting element includes a mirror, and a pair of high-frequency vibrators and a pair of low-frequency vibrators for vibrating the mirror. The high-frequency vibrators include a substrate, a bottom electrode layer formed on the substrate, a piezoelectric layer, and a drive electrode and a first monitor electrode as the top electrode layer. One end of the low-frequency vibrator has the substrate shared with the high-frequency vibrator, a bottom electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a drive electrode, and a second monitor electrode as the top electrode layer. The other end of the low-frequency vibrator has the substrate shared with the high-frequency vibrator, a bottom electrode layer, a piezoelectric layer, a drive electrode, a first monitor electrode, and an insulator layer as a dead zone for preventing a piezoelectric effect due to the piezoelectric layer from reaching the first monitor electrode. The first monitor electrode provided on the low-frequency vibrator is connected from the top of the vibrator to an extraction electrode.

TL;DR: In this article, a method of manufacturing an LCD device, in which, a seal pattern is formed by applying a sealing material for enclosing a liquid crystal on one of a pair of substrates between which liquid crystal is sandwiched.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an LCD device, in which, a seal pattern is formed by applying a sealing material for enclosing a liquid crystal on one of a pair of substrates between which liquid crystal is sandwiched. Spacers are formed on the other substrate to determine a cell gap, then the substrates are respectively held by a pair of surface plates disposed in a vacuum chamber, in which at least one of the surface plates is movable. The air-pressure of the vacuum chamber is then decreased, and the alignment of a pair of substrates is performed and a cell gap is formed by pressing the substrates toward each other, by which the gap precision, the gap uniformity and the alignment precision of an LCD device can be improved.

TL;DR: In this paper, a video coding apparatus consisting of a first orthogonal transformation unit performing discrete cosine transform on an input picture signal, a low pass filter performing low-pass filtering on the input image signal, and a downsampling unit downsampledging the resolution of a low-frequency image signal was presented.
Abstract: Provided is a video coding method and a video decoding method increasing the resolution and quality of images while suppressing an amount of data required for increasing the resolution. A video coding apparatus includes a first orthogonal transformation unit performing discrete cosine transform on an input picture signal, a low-pass filter performing low-pass filtering on the input picture signal, a downsampling unit downsampling the resolution of a low-frequency image signal, a coding unit compressing and coding a reduced image signal, a local decoding unit decoding a coded bit stream, a second orthogonal transformation unit performing discrete cosine transform on a decoded image signal, and a modification information generation unit generating, based on input image DCT coefficients and decoded image DCT coefficients, coefficient modification information used for modifying orthogonal transformation coefficients obtained by performing orthogonal transformation on a decoded video signal obtained from a coded bit stream.
