TL;DR: In this article, the authors show the existence of selectors for a multivalued martingale and supermartingale with closed values in a separable Banach space X. The existence of L1(X)-bounded or uniformly integrable selectors is discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider a power network with distributed local power generation and storage, where each node can either buy or sell electricity, impacting the electricity spot price and the objective at each node is to minimize energy and storage costs by optimally controlling the storage device.
Abstract: We consider a stylized model for a power network with distributed local power generation and storage. This system is modeled as a network connection of a large number of nodes, where each node is characterized by a local electricity consumption, has a local electricity production (photovoltaic panels for example) and manages a local storage device. Depending on its instantaneous consumption and production rate as well as its storage management decision, each node may either buy or sell electricity, impacting the electricity spot price. The objective at each node is to minimize energy and storage costs by optimally controlling the storage device. In a noncooperative game setting, we are led to the analysis of a nonzero sum stochastic game with N players where the interaction takes place through the spot price mechanism. For an infinite number of agents, our model corresponds to an extended mean field game. We are able to compare this solution to the optimal strategy of a central planner and in a linear quadratic setting, we obtain and explicit solution to the extended mean field game and we show that it provides an approximate Nash equilibrium for N-player game.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the connection between CSR and competition in order to contribute to the CSR concept through analysis of the conditions for its implementation through drawing upon the academic literature in economics and strategic management, on mainstream CSR papers and on the official disclosure and communication from companies listed on the CAC 40 of the French stock market.
Abstract: Purpose – While fierce global competition has negative environmental and social impacts and may lead large companies to act irresponsibly, corporate social responsibility (CSR) academic literature, especially stakeholder theory, pays little attention to competition and market pressure. It only highlights the competitive advantage a CSR strategy represents for companies. The purpose of this paper is to explore the connection between CSR and competition in order to contribute to the CSR concept through analysis of the conditions for its implementation.Design/methodology/approach – The paper draws upon the academic literature in economics and strategic management, on mainstream CSR papers and on the official disclosure and communication from companies listed on the “CAC 40” of the French stock market. The paper uses the definition of corporate responsibility which integrates companies' environmental and social concerns into all their activities.Findings – The following three major findings arise. First, on a...

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present short proofs for transport density absolute continuity and L p ≥ 0.1 for L 1 -approximation using displacement interpolation and discrete measures.
Abstract: The paper presents some short proofs for transport density absolute continuity and L p estimates Most of the previously existing results which were proven by geometric arguments are re-proved through a strategy based on displacement interpolation and on approximation by discrete measures; some of them are partially extended

TL;DR: In this article, the existence of solutions faibles globales for un modele de fluide compressible barotrope is discussed.
