TL;DR: A geometrical model to represent the thermodynamic concepts of exergy and anergy leads to multi-scale energy lines (correlons) that are characterised by fractal dimension and entropy analyses.
Abstract: We developed a geometrical model to represent the thermodynamic concepts of exergy and anergy. The model leads to multi-scale energy lines (correlons) that we characterised by fractal dimension and entropy analyses. A specific attention will be paid to overlapping points, rising interesting remarks about trans-scale dynamics of heat flows.

TL;DR: In this paper, a base of donnees portant sur 184 plans d'attribution of stock-options par ces entreprises is used to study l'evolution and les effets incitatifs des stockoptions attribuees aux dirigeants of dix-huit entreprise du CAC 40 entre1994 and 2003.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a short model that aims to show that a high-quality steady state exists in a market for credence goods and that the likelihood of high quality increases when the market is self-regulated by the profession in comparison to the situation where there is no self-regulation.
Abstract: This article provides a rationalization of (at least partial) professional self-regulation resting on the joint production of individual and collective reputations and its impact on the quality of professional services. It presents a short model that aims to show that (i) a high-quality steady-state exists in a market for a credence goods and that (ii) the likelihood of high quality increases when the market is self-regulated by the profession in comparison to the situation where there is no self-regulation. The law and economics literature usually criticizes self-regulation as a modern form of corporatism; we show that it may help to regulate quality when clients are faced with opportunistic professionals.

TL;DR: The transaddiction craving triggers questionnaire is developed, which assesses the propensity of specific situations and contexts to trigger craving and to test its psychometric properties in alcohol use disorder (AUD).
Abstract: We aimed to develop the transaddiction craving triggers questionnaire (TCTQ), which assesses the propensity of specific situations and contexts to trigger craving and to test its psychometric properties in alcohol use disorder (AUD). This study included a sample of 111 AUD outpatients. We performed exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and calculated item-dimension correlations. Internal consistency was measured with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Construct validity was assessed through Spearman correlations with craving, emotional symptoms, impulsivity, mindfulness, and drinking characteristics. The EFA suggested a 3-factor solution: unpleasant affect, pleasant affect, and cues and related thoughts. Cronbach's coefficient alpha ranged from .80 to .95 for the three factors and the total score. Weak positive correlations were identified between the TCTQ and drinking outcomes, and moderate correlation were found between the TCTQ and craving strength, impulsivity, anxiety, depression, and impact of alcohol on quality of life. The 3-factor structure is congruent with the well-established propensity of emotions and cues to trigger craving. Construct validity is supported by close relations between the TCTQ and psychological well-being rather than between the TCTQ and drinking behaviors. Longitudinal validation is warranted to assess sensitivity to change of the TCTQ and to explore its psychometric properties in other addictive disorders.

TL;DR: Maillart et al. as discussed by the authors adapted LARSP for French-speaking children and used a large corpus of child language in French to determine at what stage structures should be placed on the new chart.
Abstract: The version of LARSP that has been adapted for use for French-speaking children has followed the lead of Bol and Kuiken (1990) for Dutch in accu- rately linking stages of language development with chronological ages. Their approach used two criteria for determining whether a given structure should be included on the chart, and, if so, at which stage: the structure should be used by at least 50% of the population at a particular stage; and the median of the frequency with which a structure is used should have a value of at least 1.0. For the French adaptation (F-LARSP), a large corpus of child language in French was analysed to determine at what stage structures should be placed on the new chart and how many of these structures should be included. Further details of the adaptation can be found in Maillart et al. (in press). In the present chapter, we focus on the design and implementa- tion of a computerized system for accurately carrying out F-LARSP much more quickly than is possible with current manual methods.
