21 Feb 1997TL;DR: In this article, an electrical multi-pole modular plug-and-socket-type connector with an associated socket part is described, where the PE module (7) contacts at least one insertable PE socket module (15) at the apparatus end.
Abstract: The invention concerns an electrical multi-pole modular plug-and-socket-type connector (1) with an associated socket part (35), each having a frame (5, 11) for holding mutually corresponding contact modules (6a, 6b, 7) which are equipped with connections for a corresponding number of conductors of a multi-wire conductor cable (3). At least one insertable PE module (7) of a half contact module raster is provided in order to transfer an electrical potential from the plug end to the apparatus end. The PE module (7) contacts at least one insertable PE socket module (15) at the apparatus end. A bridge (9, 17) disposed on the holder frame (5) and/or attachment frame (11) between the PE modules (7) or PE socket modules (15) enables the corresponding contact modules (6a, 6b, 7, 14a, 14b, 15) to be freely combined in their selection and arrangement. At the same time, the fitting of socket modules (14a, 14b, 15) laterally by means of locking devices (33) to form a compact module block (14) facilitates the connection to a printed circuit board (19) and the securing thereof.

23 Jan 1997TL;DR: In this article, a connection box for a modular system of busbar supplied loads incorporates contacts capable of heavy current transfer to their connected electrical equipment, which are themselves supported in the slots of transverse insulating barriers.
Abstract: A connection box for a modular system of busbar supplied loads incorporates contacts capable of heavy current transfer to their connected electrical equipment. Figure 1 shows the three modules (2 2' 2") mounted as a block (1) each carrying a robust connection box (3) with a hinged cover (4), two of which are raised and the third closed. Each module (2 2' 2") has projecting vertical contact tongues (7, 7') which enter the base of the connection box housing and locate on either side of the relevant busbar (5 5' 5") which are themselves supported in the slots of transverse insulating barriers. A heavy duty connection is established by closing and locking the cover (4) when U-shaped spring clamps (b) are firmly pressed over the contacts (7, 7').

01 Oct 1997TL;DR: The open control user group has defined the CALL interfaces, which enable simple data exchange, not only during the design phase, but also during the runtime of an automation solution.
Abstract: The industrial PC is playing an increasingly significant role in the field of control technology. These days, machine and system builders can compile their own automation solutions using hardware and software components from a variety of manufacturers. This opens up a whole new world of options for implementing manufacturer independent, cost effective automation solutions. In order to prevent possible interface problems in these open solutions, the open control user group has defined the CALL interfaces. These CALL interfaces enable simple data exchange, not only during the design phase, but also during the runtime of an automation solution. In addition, CALL enables access to distributed components via a fieldbus system such as INTERBUS (or other).

01 Jan 1997TL;DR: In this paper, the Open Control-Nutzergruppe Call Interfaces stellen sowohl wahrend der Entwurfsphase als auch wahnd der Laufzeit einer Automatisierungslosung den einheitlichen Hersteller sicher.
Abstract: Der Industrie-PC gewinnt in der Steuerungstechnik zunehmend an Bedeutung.

Abstract: The marking shield consists of a strip-shaped plastics material, deformable in a tool mould, locating marking symbols at least at a part-region (8) of its outer surface in its non-assembled state. The shield consists of an original flat, metal-free plastics strip, whose middle region is printed. Outside the printed region are securing shanks (3,4) for fastening onto the conductor (2) by surrounding the latter outer dia. Pref. the conductor surrounding shanks form in assembled state approx. semicircular, triangular, or trapezoidal cross-sectional shape with the printed part region.
