TL;DR: In this article, a quasi-continuous transmission of a temporally modifiable variable between a transmitter and a receiver is proposed, where the temporal progression of the variable for triggering an operation-related function is at least approximately determined in a processing unit which is connected downstream of the receiver, on the basis of transmitted information.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the quasi-continuous transmission of a temporally modifiable variable between a transmitter and a receiver. In order to make available the temporal progression of the variable for triggering an operation-related function, said progression is at least approximately determined in a processing unit which is connected downstream of the receiver, on the basis of the transmitted information.

TL;DR: In this article, a distributed automation system is described with at least one first order network device (1, 1, 1′, 1″), a database system (2), and a first-order network (3) for data acquisition and diagnosis.
Abstract: A distributed automation system is described with at least one first order network device (1, 1′, 1″) and at least one piece of data available on the first order network device, at least one database system (2) and at least one first order network (3). With the distributed automation system, the data acquisition and diagnosis possibilities are improved by the first order network device (1, 1′, 1″) and the database system (2) being directly interconnected via the first order network (3), and by the data from the first order network device (1, 1′, 1″) being able to be transmitted actively and directly via the first order network (3) to the database system (2).

TL;DR: In this article, a temperature sensitive band shaped clamping element is used to partially shift two terminal elements (12, 14) of an overvoltage protection component (10) i.e. varistor, at a contacting state.
Abstract: The arrangement has a temperature-sensitive band shaped clamping element (24) i.e. plastic band, partially shifting two terminal elements (12, 14) of an overvoltage protection component (10) i.e. varistor, at a contacting state. The terminal elements are held relative to two counter-contact elements (18, 20) by the clamping element in a fixed manner. The fixation of the terminal elements are released during heating of the clamping element above a critical temperature of the clamping element, so that contacting between the terminal elements and the counter-contact elements is interrupted.
