TL;DR: A quasi-static formulation of the PEEC-method including inductive and capacitive effects is coupled with a surface magnetization formulation allowing for modeling linear magnetic materials in combination with arbitrary conductor arrangements.
Abstract: In this paper, a quasi-static formulation of the PEEC-method including inductive and capacitive effects is coupled with a surface magnetization formulation allowing for modeling linear magnetic materials in combination with arbitrary conductor arrangements. Special care is taken to give a systematic derivation of the underlying equations, an adaptive mesh algorithm for the surface mesh of the magnetic materials, and a multifunction implementation for a mixed domain concerning orthogonal and nonorthogonal cells. The approach is verified with examples according to the finite-element method and measurements.

TL;DR: In this paper, a locking device for a plug-in connection between a plug and a socket is presented, which enables simple and economical axial locking, which cannot be manipulated.
Abstract: The invention relates to a locking device for a plug-in connection between a plug and a socket. In accordance with the invention an actuator ( 4 ) and a blocking slide ( 6 ) are provided, wherein the actuator ( 4 ) is rotatable about an axis of rotation, the blocking slide ( 6 ) is displaceable in the longitudinal direction thereof between an unlocking position and a locking position, and the actuator ( 4 ) and the blocking slide ( 6 ) are formed in such a way and interact with each other such that a rotation of the actuator ( 4 ) is always combined with a longitudinal displacement of the blocking slide ( 6 ) and vice versa, wherein a longitudinal displacement of the blocking slide ( 6 ) by means of a rotation of the actuator ( 4 ) is always possible, whereas a rotation of the actuator ( 4 ) by means of a longitudinal displacement of the blocking slide ( 6 ) is possible only outside the locking position. A locking device of this type for a plug-in connection between a plug and a socket is thus provided, which enables simple and economical axial locking, which cannot be manipulated.

TL;DR: In this article, a safety relay with signal inputs of an input signal current circuit that connect the safety relay to a control device for monitoring the input signal circuit is described. But the relay is not connected to the control device during a fault-free state and is detunable upon detection of a fault.
Abstract: A safety-related communication system includes a safety relay with signal inputs of an input signal current circuit that connect the safety relay to a control device for monitoring the input signal circuit. The safety relay also includes at least two load outputs of a load current circuit for connecting to a load. Switching elements are connected in parallel and configured to switch the load current circuit on or off based on an activation signal at the input signal current circuit. A diagnostic device monitors faults in the load current circuit and/or the safety relay. A signaling device connected to the signal inputs provides an impedance for the input signal circuit. The impedance is tuned to the control device during a fault-free state and is detunable upon detection of a fault so as to signal the detected fault to the control device via the input signal current circuit.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a network system which has a first network infrastructure with at least one network participant and at least two coupling units via which the first network infrastructures communicate with a cloud computing infrastructure with a Cloud computing-based application.
Abstract: The invention relates to a network system which has a first network infrastructure with at least one network participant and at least one coupling unit via which the first network infrastructure communicates with a cloud computing infrastructure with at least one cloud computing-based application. According to the invention, the coupling unit is set up and configured to emulate, in cooperation with the cloud computing-based application, at least one further network participant for the first network infrastructure, wherein data can be transmitted between the first network participant and the further network participant of the first network infrastructure. Furthermore, the invention relates to a coupling unit and a method for operating a network system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a device for electrical energy supply and/or data supply of end devices via inductive coupling is described, comprising an oblong holding apparatus and a plurality of transmitting coils arranged next to each other which generate magnetic field lines along the holding apparatus.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for electrical energy supply and/or data supply of end devices via inductive (coupling,) comprising an oblong holding apparatus (1) and a plurality of transmitting coils (20) arranged next to each other which generate magnetic field lines along the holding apparatus (1). According to the invention, structurally narrow end devices (31) have flat receiving coils (30), the plane of which is aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the holding apparatus (1).
