13 Oct 2011TL;DR: In this paper, a method and an apparatus for monitoring the maximum available capacity of a battery, and an uninterruptible power supply (30), which allow a forecast for the current runtime of the battery (110) was presented.
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for monitoring the maximum available capacity of a battery, and an uninterruptible power supply (30), which allow a forecast for the current runtime of a battery (110). For this purpose, a method is provided, after the first providing a plurality of different ranges of values of the discharge voltage. Now, the battery (110) is removed from power, and determines the Entladeschlussspannungswert to which arrives the battery. The occurrence of the discharge circuit voltage values is counted in terms of value ranges (16,17, 120,130 meters). Fur jeden Entladevorgang werden diese Schritte wiederholt. For each unloading these steps are repeated. Now the count of each counter (120,130) is read and a first factor depending on the read-out meter readings, which is a measure of the decrease in the maximum available battery capacity, determined (17-2).

24 Nov 1994TL;DR: In this paper, an emergency off current loop for the emergency shutdown of a machine or an installation is illustrated and described, with a break contact designed as break contact and a contactor designed as make contact, the main contacts of the contactor being situated in the main circuit of the machine or installation which is to be shut down in case of an emergency.
Abstract: An emergency off current loop (1) for the emergency shutdown of a machine or an installation is illustrated and described, having an emergency off button (2) designed as a break contact and having a contactor (3) which is in series with the emergency off button (2) and has main contacts (4) designed as make contacts, the main contacts (4) of the contactor (3) being situated in the main circuit of the machine or installation which is to be shut down in the event of an emergency. In the case of the emergency off current loop (1) according to the invention, a further emergency off button (17) or further emergency off buttons (17) can easily be inserted without an undesired emergency shutdown occurring, to be precise in that an emergency off loop extension connection (9) is provided in series with the emergency off button (2) and the contactor (3), the emergency off loop extension connection (9) has two extension connection terminals (10, 11) and the extension connection terminals (10, 11) are bridged or can be bridged, on the one hand, by a bridging plug (12) and, on the other hand, by a bridging button (13) designed as a make contact.

03 Nov 2014TL;DR: In this paper, a bridging module was proposed for electrically connecting a functional component of a component assembly system, comprising a module housing ( 337 ) which has an interlocking device ( 301 ) for detachably and interlockingly holding the bridging modules on a profiled mounting rail.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bridging module ( 300 ) for electrically connecting a functional component of a component assembly system, said bridging module comprising a module housing ( 337 ) which has an interlocking device ( 301 ) for detachably and interlockingly holding the bridging module ( 300 ) on a profiled mounting rail.
