TL;DR: In this article, a method for the optimized transmission of data between a control device and a plurality of field devices which are connected to one another via an IP-based communication network, the data transmission being controlled using a Profinet protocol is presented.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the optimized transmission of data between a control device and a plurality of field devices which are connected to one another via an IP-based communication network, the data transmission being controlled using a Profinet protocol. The invention also relates to a control and data transmission installation (10) which is particularly suitable for carrying out the method. The control and data transmission installation (10) can be used to transmit the data which is to be transmitted from a control device (20) to a group of field devices (30, 40, 50) in a single total frame divided into data fields and to transmit the data which is to be transmitted from a multiplicity of field devices (30, 40, 50) to a control device (20) likewise in just one common total frame divided into data fields. This allows the transmission rate to be optimized in comparison with standard - Profinet - frames.

TL;DR: In this article, a modular data transmission system with several modules or bus nodes that can be arranged adjacent to one another in a row is described. But the authors do not specify how to construct such a system.
Abstract: The invention pertains to a modular data transmission system with several modules or bus nodes that can be arranged adjacent to one another in a row. The data transmission system comprises a first bus node that features a first transmitter for the wireless transmission of data and an electrical connector, as well as a second bus node that features a first receiver for the wireless reception of data and an electrical connector. Both bus nodes are detachably fixed on a mounting rail such that they are arranged adjacent to one another in a row. The first and second bus nodes are respectively detachably connected to a bus receptacle, wherein each bus receptacle features an electrical mating connector that is coupled to the electrical connector of the respective bus node in the connected state in order to transmit energy, as well as a positioning device for positioning the respective bus node.

TL;DR: In this article, a base for an electrical protective-earth conductor terminal for connection to a supporting rail is described, in which at least one spring element acts between the two base elements.
Abstract: The invention relates to a base (1) for an electrical protective-earth conductor terminal (2) for connection to a supporting rail (5) which has laterally projecting limbs (3, 4), having two base elements (11, 12) which consist of bent sheet-metal parts and can move relative to one another and between which at least one spring element acts, the base elements (11, 12) having at their outer ends, pointing away from one another, base ends (9, 10) for in each case engaging under a limb (3, 4) of the supporting rail (5), at least one base end (9), which is designed as an intrinsically rigid bolt, being movable in the direction of the associated limb (3) and, against the spring force of the spring element (14), away from the associated limb (3) for connection to the supporting rail (5) and, in the connected position, engaging under the associated limb (3) in a positively locking manner, the two base elements (11, 12) being arranged such that they at least partially overlap and each base element (11, 12) having a bent supporting limb (22, 23) in the region of the overlap and the spring element (14) acting on the supporting limb (22, 23) in such a manner that the base ends (9, 10) are clamped onto one another. In order to provide a base which consists of as few components as possible, can be handled and assembled easily and is at the same time cost-effective, it is provided according to the invention that the spring element (14) be designed as a leaf spring, which is designed integrally with one of the supporting limbs (22, 23).

TL;DR: In this article, electric connecting clamp contains clamping spring and metal member in insulating housing with inserting aperture for conductor (3) to be connected and support shank (4) is formed recess (5) and end of clamping shank protrudes into recess.
Abstract: Electric connecting clamp contains clamping spring (1) and metal member (2) in insulating housing with inserting aperture for conductor (3) to be connected. In support shank (5) of clamping spring is formed recess (7). Clamping (4) and support shanks are so bent that end (8) of clamping shank protrudes into recess.Clamping spring includes holding section (9) which, together with support shank, extend parallel to inserting direction of conductor and are closely spaced. Current rail member (6) is insertable through recess between support shank and holding section in opposite direction of conductor inserting direction.

TL;DR: In this paper, a surge protection system including a pluggable surge protection cartridge and its corresponding base is disclosed, which is configured to be situated within the base such that the cartridge is removable from the base while the base remains in electrical contact with the load center.
Abstract: A surge protection system including a pluggable surge protection cartridge and its corresponding base is disclosed. The cartridge includes a housing, a surge protection assembly situated within the housing containing a surge protection element and a plurality of cartridge contacts in electrical contact with the surge protection assembly. The cartridge contacts are configured to engage a base within an electrical load center to carry a surge current from the load center across an electrical path of the surge protection assembly through the surge protection element. The cartridge is configured to be situated within the base such that the cartridge is removable from the base while the base remains in electrical contact with the load center.
