Abstract: Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen eines Datenlese- und -schreibzugriffs auf ein Gerat (200) von einem Bediengerat (300) aus, umfassend eine erste Verbindungseinrichtung (110), die gemas einer ersten Datenubertragungsspezifikation ausgebildet ist zum Verbinden der Vorrichtung mit dem Gerat (200) und die einen fur eine galvanische Trennung ausgebildeten Datenkoppler umfasst; eine zweite Verbindungseinrichtung (120), die gemas einer zweiten Datenubertragungsspezifikation ausgebildet ist zum Verbinden der Vorrichtung mit dem Bediengerat (300); eine Speichereinheit (130) mit einer darin gespeicherten Zugriffsapplikation (Z); eine Verarbeitungseinheit (140), die mit der ersten und der zweiten Verbindungseinrichtung (110, 120) sowie mit der Speichereinheit (130) verbunden und ausgebildet ist zur Umsetzung und Weiterleitung von zwischen dem Gerat (200) und dem Bediengerat (300) und umgekehrt zu ubertragenen Daten gemas der jeweiligen Datenubertragungsspezifikation; wobei die Zugriffsapplikation (Z) zunachst gerateneutral ausgebildet und somit fur Zugriffe auf beliebige Gerate (200) anwendbar ist; wobei die Zugriffsapplikation (Z) zu dem Bediengerat (300) ubertragbar, auf diesem ausfuhrbar ist, und wobei die Zugriffsapplikation (Z) ausgebildet ist zum Auswerten von das Gerat (200) beschreibenden Daten, welche in wenigstens einer Geratebeschreibungsdatei enthalten sind, sowie basierend auf diesen das Gerat (200) beschreibenden Daten zum Bereitstellen einer an das Gerat (200) angepassten Zugriffsfunktion und Bedienschnittstelle an dem Bediengerat (300) fur einen Datenlese- und -schreibzugriff auf das Gerat (200).

Abstract: The subject matter of the invention is a mounting plate (1) with fixing means for an electrical device and for a supporting rail (4), which is in the form of a top hat rail and is formed with two bent-back support struts (5), and with at least one holder (6), which is arranged on the rear side (3) of the mounting plate (1), with a bearing section, wherein an elevation (7) made of metal is provided on the rear side (3) for the purpose of clamping at least one bent-back support strut (5) against the bearing section of the holder (6). In order to connect the mounting plate to the supporting rail in a manner in which it is secured against slipping, the elevation (7) is selected in terms of its arrangement, geometry and dimensions and material properties in such a way that it itself is deformed and/or a part of the mounting plate (1) which is connected to it is deformed when the bent-back support strut (5) is clamped.

The electrical field device is easily adapted to different functions and conditions of use in that an opening is formed on one side of the housing for insertion of an electronic expansion module which has at least one circuit board, and in that the circuit board has a contact region with contacts for mechanical and electrical contact-making with mating contacts connected to the circuit board of the expansion, module and a circuit board recess formed such that an inserted expansion module does not have any conductive connection to the field device except in the contact region so that reliable electrical isolation between the interior of the device and the user is ensured.

Abstract: A terminal block is disclosed that integrates a surge protection base, a disconnect and connection points to provide a Kelvin connection in which a surge protection element is in electrical communication with the ground and the connection points for incoming and outgoing wires. The terminal block includes a terminal body having a terminal body housing. a plurality of conductive elements arranged within the terminal body to create a continuous electrical path therethrough and a disconnect switch integral the terminal body, the switch arranged to open the continuous electrical path and expose a terminal. The terminal body is configured to receive a surge protection element and the surge protection element, when received in the terminal body, forms a portion of the continuous electrical path.
