17 Mar 2008TL;DR: An electrical plug connector includes an insulating body supporting electrical contact elements having a connector portion and a conductor connection portion as discussed by the authors, and a tension sleeve has a terminal screw configured to connect a ground conductor with the electrically conductive metal element.
Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulating body supporting electrical contact elements having a connector portion and a conductor connection portion. At least one retaining element is configured to contact a respective at least one contact insert and has at least one flange with at least one punched hole configured to fasten the electrical plug connector to at least one of a housing and a control cabinet. A tension sleeve has a terminal screw configured to connect a ground conductor with the electrically conductive metal element. A U-shaped frame is configured to receive and guide the tension sleeve. A conductor bar is disposed on the electrically conductive metal element angularly offset from the U-shaped frame and is configured to engage the tension sleeve.

21 May 2008TL;DR: In this paper, a method for parameterizing operating means connected to a data transmission medium was proposed, in which a device description was stored in a central facility, each device description containing at least one function and the parameter set belonging thereto.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for parameterizing operating means connected to a data transmission medium. In this case, for at least several of the connected operating means, in each case, a device description will be stored in a central facility, each device description containing at least one function and the parameter set belonging thereto. In addition, a list of several predefined device functions will be stored in memory, for which the corresponding parameter set will be assigned each time to the operating means that support the device function. If a device function is selected, then in response to the selected device function, at least one operating means that supports this device function will be parameterized.

23 Oct 2009TL;DR: In this article, the problem of devising a circuit arrangement (10) for protecting electronic devices from incorrect logic voltages, wherein this circuit arrangement delivers increased protection against overvoltages, so that this circuit could also be used in multi-channel fail-safe systems that satisfy, for example, Performance Level “e” according to DIN EN ISO 13849.
Abstract: The invention is based on the problem of devising a circuit arrangement (10) for protecting electronic devices from incorrect logic voltages, wherein this circuit arrangement delivers increased protection against overvoltages, so that this circuit arrangement could also be used in multi-channel fail-safe systems that satisfy, for example, Performance Level “e” according to DIN EN ISO 13849. The circuit arrangement (10) has an input terminal (80) for connecting a power supply device and at least one voltage converter (90) that delivers, on the output side, an adjustable logic voltage. A controllable switching element (70) is connected between the one or more voltage converters (90, 95) and the input terminal (80). Furthermore, a first monitoring device (20) is provided for monitoring the logic voltage. The first monitoring device (20) is constructed so that it triggers the opening of the switching element (70) when the logic voltage reaches or exceeds a predetermined threshold.

22 Sep 1992TL;DR: A cable connector has at least two terminal side blocks, joined electrically and mechanically, on either side of a central block as discussed by the authors, attached to the cable by screws and the whole unit sits on a carrying rail.
Abstract: A cable connector has at least two terminal side blocks (1), joined electrically and mechanically, on either side of a central block (5) The cables are attached to the blocks by screws The whole unit sits on a carrying rail (6) The side blocks can be removed from the central block, the attachment (11, 12) being an array of mating grooves with springs The blocks are made from insulating material, the electrical connection between the individual cable terminations being via a common bus-bar Further grooves (14) in the central block are available for cable identity tags ADVANTAGE - Proof against electric shock during mounting under any circumstances including retrofitting

13 Sep 2012TL;DR: In this paper, a switchable transverse bridge is produced by each current bar having a second contact section, two further current bar pieces being arranged in the terminal housing, and a recess being formed in a current bar piece for insertion of a branch of a jumper.
Abstract: An electrical series terminal having a terminal housing, conductor connector elements, and current bars, the current bars each having a connector section and a first contact section, the connector sections being assigned to a conductor connector element and the first contact sections together forming a resilient contact region to receive the plug of the test or power plug. A switchable transverse bridge is producible by each current bar having a second contact section, two further current bar pieces being arranged in the terminal housing, and a recess being formed in a current bar piece for insertion of a branch of a jumper. A current bar piece is assigned to a respective current bar so that the second contact section of a current bar is connected to the assigned current bar piece when no plug is inserted and is spaced from the assigned current bar piece when a plug is inserted.
