TL;DR: In this paper, a bus coupler converts a network-specific telegram coming from an external network to an internal data telegram which transmits only the useful data from the network specific telegram.
Abstract: The invention relates to a bus coupler (30) which converts a network-specific telegram coming from an external network (20) to an internal data telegram which transmits only the useful data from the network-specific telegram. The internal data telegram further contains at least one status information field for internal control information. The internal data telegram is handed over by the bus coupler (30) to an internal bus system (15) to which a plurality of bus stations (40-70) are connected in series. Every bus station connected to the internal bus system (15) can monitor the communication quality of the underlay bus system and especially the communication with its adjacent bus stations in a decentralized and preferably self-sufficient manner using the internal control information received by the bus coupler (30), using the internal control information generated by the respective bus station and/or using the internal control information received by the directly adjacent bus stations, and can trigger actions depending on the implementation. The decentralized monitoring by the bus stations is carried out during the transmission of useful data and without reducing the transmission bandwidth.

TL;DR: In this article, an accumulator control unit is configured to measure at least one of a parameter of the accumulator and an environmental parameter, and to transmit the measured parameters to the remote auxiliary electrical power supply device via a communication interface.
Abstract: An accumulator control device includes a first electrical connection configured to connect the accumulator control device to a local accumulator. A second electrical connection is connected to the first electrical connection and configured to connect to a remote auxiliary electrical power supply device. A control unit is configured to measure at least one of a parameter of the accumulator and an environmental parameter and to transmit at least one of the at least one measured parameter and a value calculated using the at least one measured parameter to the remote auxiliary electrical power supply device via a communication interface.

TL;DR: In this paper, a screening connection device for a circuit board mounted within a housing possesses a plug component attached to the exterior of a housing wall by means of securing screws that may be coupled to a socket component mounted to the interior of the housing wall through a cutout in the wall.
Abstract: A screening connection device for a circuit board mounted within a housing possesses a plug component attached to the exterior of a housing wall by means of securing screws that may be coupled to a socket component mounted to the interior of the housing wall through a cutout in the wall. The plug component includes a screening connection in electrical contact with the securing screws to connect the shield of a cable connected to the plug component whose electrical lines may be connected to the circuit board via the plug component and the socket component. In order to provide contact elements between the securing screws of the plug component and the conductor on the circuit board provided to conduct the screen potential that are simple to manufacture, that provide positive contact, and that are robust components, screening plates are mountable so that they are fixed to the circuit board so that at least one conductor for connection of the screen potential may be brought into contact. Each of these screening plates includes a securing flange that rests against the interior side of the housing wall, and a threaded socket to engage one of the securing screws of the plug component.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a method for identifying the operating state of at least one control element, which is designed for an active and a passive operating state, for a control apparatus.
Abstract: In order to flexibly identify the current operating state of control elements which are used to control a process installation, the invention provides a method for identifying the operating state of at least one control element, which is designed for an active and a passive operating state, for a control apparatus, wherein, in the active operating state, the control element controls a process function of an area of a process installation, comprising the following steps: the control apparatus is connected to the process installation, the control element is functionally associated with the process function, and the operating state of the control element is identified as active on the basis of successful functional association of the control element with the process function. The invention also provides a control apparatus for controlling at least one process function for an area of a process installation, as well as a process installation which is suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention.

TL;DR: In this paper, a system for connecting electrical conductors to mutually different potentials, consisting of at least two electrical terminals (10) arranged alongside one another with plug receptacles (12) and at least 2 plug bridges (14) with top-web connections, is proposed.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for connecting electrical conductors to mutually different potentials, consisting of at least two electrical terminals ( 10 ) arranged alongside one another with plug receptacles ( 12 ) and at least two plug bridges ( 14 ) which have in each case at least two plug contacts ( 142 ) which are connected to one another via a top web ( 141 ) and can be plugged into the plug receptacles ( 12 ) In order to specify a system for connecting electrical conductors to mutually different potentials in which a high degree of flexibility of the electrical connections is made possible in conjunction with a reduced space requirement, it is proposed that the plug bridges ( 14 ) and the electrical terminals ( 10 ) are embodied in a manner coordinated with one another in such a way that one plug bridge ( 14 ) can be plugged into plug receptacles ( 12 ) of the same electrical terminal ( 10 ) and the other plug bridge ( 14 ) can be plugged crosswise with respect thereto into plug receptacles ( 12 ) of two electrical terminals ( 10 ) arranged indirectly or directly alongside one another
