29 Apr 2011TL;DR: In this paper, the authors address the segment of the Smart Grid activity that distributes data during last-mile connectivity between the data concentrator and the end user (home) level and discuss the products and methodology required to protect outdoor link layer hardware from lightning strikes and current surges.
Abstract: “Smart Grid” is a term used to define several phases of activities within the utility industry: from providing communications, monitoring and control capabilities for the energy infrastructure at the macro scale to controlling the energy usage of home appliances at the micro scale. This paper will address the segment of the Smart Grid activity that distributes data during last-mile connectivity between the data concentrator and the end user (home) level. Specifically, this paper will discuss the products and methodology required to protect outdoor link layer hardware from lightning strikes and current surges.

06 May 1993TL;DR: In this paper, the main body of the terminal block has a main body produced in an insulating material with a profiled base that fits around the rail, and the terminal is produced with two connecting stages located on top of each other.
Abstract: The terminal block has a main body produced in an insulating material with a profiled base (3) that fits around the rail. The terminal is produced with two connecting stages located on top of each other (A,B). The lower of the stages has a pair of main damping terminals (4) of the type having a block and damping screw. The second pair of connectors are mounted on locating block (6) and also provided with terminal screws (7). The number of poles at the two connection stages may differ. ADVANTAGE - Simplified mounting of terminal block with two connection levels.

25 Aug 2005TL;DR: In this article, a Kerngedanke der Erfindung is presented, with Hilfe von Strukturinformationen die Anlagenstruktur and deren Funktionsstrukture zu beschreiben, wobei the Strukturisticinformationeninnerhalb der Anlage (10) abgelegt sind.
Abstract: Die
Speichereinrichtung herunterladen.

21 Jul 1994TL;DR: In this paper, the clamp terminal has a housing with an opening for reception of a conductor and an adjacent clamping screw acting on a conductor element through into engagement with the inserted conductor and having a soldering pin projecting from the housing to fit perpendicularly through a PCB.
Abstract: The clamp terminal has a housing (4) with an opening (3) for reception of a conductor and an adjacent clamping screw (7) acting on a conductor element (11) through into engagement with the inserted conductor and having a soldering pin (10) projecting from the housing to fit perpendicularly through a PCB (2).The conductor insertion direction (12) is parallel to the soldering pin, the conductor element being U-shaped with one arm provided by the soldering pin and the other arm acted on by the clamping screw.
