Abstract: The invention relates to an illumination element (1) having at least one light source (2), at least two connections (4, 6) for supplying the light source with electrical power, and one support (10) for receiving the light source (2). According to the invention the light source (2) has a heat generating section (2a), and the support (10) contacts said heat generating section, wherein the support (10) is comprised of a thermally conducting plastic material and is configured such that the same at least partially dissipates the heat generated by the light source (2).

Abstract: To be able to achieve shorter communication cycles, the invention proposes a communication system which is able to connect field devices to a higher-order control device. For this purpose, a connection device is provided which is connectable to a higher-order control device via a transmission medium. The connection device has at least one first port and at least one second port, to each of which a field device may be connected. The connection device has at least one functional device which is switchable between at least one first port and at least one second port. The functional device is designed to generate output data intended for the second port in response to the input data arriving at the first port.

Abstract: A plug-in connector part for connection to an associated mating plug-in connector part includes a housing part, which has a plug-in portion and a plurality of contact openings arranged in the plug-in portion each having a contact element arranged therein. The plug-in portion being can be brought into a plug-in connection with the associated mating plug-in connector part in a plug-in direction, and has an outer surface extending peripherally around the plug-in direction. The plug-in portion includes a plurality of drainage openings which are each associated with a contact opening and extend from the associated contact opening to the outer surface so as to lead liquid from the associated contact opening to the outer surface. At least one of the drainage openings extends along a first plane and at least a second drainage opening extends along a second plane offset from the first plane in the plug-in direction.

Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur optimierten Ubertragung von Daten zwischen einer Steuereinrichtung und mehreren Feldgeraten, die uber ein IP-basiertes Kommunikationsnetz miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Datenubertragung unter Verwendung eines Profinet-Protokolls gesteuert wird. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung eine Steuer- und Datenubertragungsanlage (10), die insbesondere zur Durchfuhrung des Verfahrens geeignet ist. Mit der Steuer- und Datenubertragungsanlage (10) ist es moglich, die von einer Steuereinrichtung (20) zu einer Gruppe von Feldgeraten (30, 40, 50) zu ubertragenden Daten in einem einzigen, in Datenfelder unterteilten Summenrahmen und die von einer Vielzahl von Feldgeraten (30, 40, 50) zu einer Steuereinrichtung (20) zu ubertragenden Daten ebenfalls in nur einem gemeinsamen in Datenfeldern unterteilten Summenrahmen zu ubertragen. Auf diese Weise kann die Ubertragungsrate gegenuber Standard-Profinet-Rahmen optimiert werden.
