TL;DR: In this article, a feature-capable device that supports channel reuse can execute operations for determining whether to reuse or share a communication channel with a neighbor network when a local network and/or the neighbor network comprise legacy devices that do not support adaptive channel reuse feature.
Abstract: A feature-capable device that supports channel reuse can execute operations for determining whether to reuse or share a communication channel with a neighbor network when a local network (that comprises the feature-capable device) and/or the neighbor network comprise legacy devices that do not support adaptive channel reuse feature. The feature-capable device can determine channel performance measurements associated with each legacy device in the local network and/or the neighbor network and can compare the channel performance measurements against corresponding performance thresholds. The local network and the neighbor network can reuse the channel if the channel performance measurements associated with all the legacy devices are in accordance with the corresponding performance thresholds. The local network and the neighbor network can share the channel if the channel performance measurements of at least one of the legacy devices is not in accordance with the corresponding performance thresholds.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide transmission techniques that improve service continuity and reduce interruptions in delivery of content that can be caused by transitions that occur when the user equipment (UE) moves from one cell to the other.
Abstract: Transmission techniques are provided that improve service continuity and reduce interruptions in delivery of content that can be caused by transitions that occur when the User Equipment (UE) moves from one cell to the other, or when the delivery of content changes from a Point-to-Point (PTP) connection to a Point-to-Multipoint (PTM) connection in the same serving cell, and vice-versa. Such transmission techniques enable seamless delivery of content across cell borders and/or between different transmission schemes such as Point-to-Multipoint (PTM) and Point-to-Point (PTP). Mechanisms for adjusting different streams and for recovering content from each data block during such transitions are also provided so that data is not lost during a transition. In addition, mechanisms for realigning data during decoding at a receiving terminal are also provided.

TL;DR: In this article, a robust and dynamic resource provisioning that can accommodate heterogeneous access point networks in a changing topology is described. And resource assignments can be updated at various intervals to re-optimize for existing wireless conditions, whether event driven or based on performance metrics.
Abstract: Providing for dynamic resource provisioning in wireless communication is described herein. By way of example, various wireless performance metrics are collected by respective network access points as an aggregate measure of wireless network performance. Aggregated data can be utilized to generate a performance model for the network and for individual access points. Changes to the data are updated to the model to provide a steady-state characterization of network performance. Wireless resources are generated for respective access points in a manner that optimizes wireless performance. Additionally, resource assignments can be updated at various intervals to re-optimize for existing wireless conditions, whether event driven or based on performance metrics. Accordingly, a robust and dynamic optimization is provided for wireless network resource provisioning that can accommodate heterogeneous access point networks in a changing topology.

TL;DR: In this article, a coarse position estimate for the device and a more accurate coarse position estimation for the transmitters are derived based on initial (less accurate) estimates of the position of a plurality of transmitters.
Abstract: Techniques for determining the location of a device based on an initial coarse position estimate for the device, which is derived based on initial (less accurate) estimates of the position of a plurality of transmitters. In one method, the coarse position estimate for the device and revised (more accurate) position estimates for the transmitters are received. A revised position estimate for the device is initialized (e.g., to the coarse position estimate). An update vector is next computed based on the initial and revised position estimates for the device and the initial and revised position estimates for the transmitters. The revised position estimate for the device is then updated based on the update vector. The computation for the update vector and the updating of the revised position estimate for the device can be repeated a number of times to achieve a more and more accurate estimate.

TL;DR: An optical interference reflective element has a lightincident electrode and a light-reflective electrode, and each or both of the two electrodes are made of a display part and a wiring part which are electrically connected to each other with a connection part.
Abstract: An optical interference reflective element has a light-incident electrode and a light-reflective electrode, and each or both of the two electrodes are made of a display part and a wiring part which are electrically connected to each other with a connection part. A plurality of the interference reflective elements are connected to form an electrode line by the wiring parts, and the electrode line is used in an optical interference reflective structure formed by the optical interference reflective elements that is operated in a passive matrix mode.
